Fans "Cheering" Palacios...
« on: November 28, 2010, 07:02:39 PM »
Palacios didn't have the best first half today, kept giving the ball away alot, but in all fairness to him he wasn;t the only one today and he hasn't play alot lately.

But when the fans started cheering when he would make a simple pass, was out of order if you ask me.

you don't do that to your own players.

Completely agree with you. Stupid, mindless mob mentality.

They're mad that a player isn't performing well so they do everything within their power to make him play worse? Genius... Next those same "supporters" will offer plan b. Plan b consists of scoring own goals to win games.

Couldn't agree more with the above comments, no matter how poor Palacios was. He's still a Tottenham player and we all should support them all!

wasn't long ago Palacios was the player we have been missing for years - i think he is going through a tough time & needs the fans support - he was one of the reasons we stayed up when harry first came in !!!

Spot on! Why couldnt they get in their minds that he just lost his Lil brother and it takes time for that to pass even for some people it might effect them for afew years!

With our Defensive midfield crisis Hudds/JJ out SgtWilson must play his part. Encouraging would help him alot. Not being sarcastic. Effing :tossa:s!

Spurs have some of the most vulgar, mindless fans in the Prem.... remember the booing after the Sunders game just a short while ago..

doubt Palacios will be affected, hes very sensible..... and didnt the great Modric himself mislay a few passes yesterday..... and a few other players...

alot of fans came out after the Sunderland game and said the Boo'ing was for the ref and not the team

One can just hope that Palacios is a big man enough to ingnore booing muppets. Every player has highs and lows but unfortunately some so-called fans are too infantile to understand that.

C;mon Biggsy, thats such a crock about the 'fans' booing the ref..... if it WAS that Arry wouldnt have been peed off..... the booing mostly was for the lack of a win... which is quite ungrateful cos the team actually played well..

yeah like i said in the Sunderland thread, if the boo'ing was for the team it was stupid because sunderland where lucky to get a draw that day.

but alot of people have told me the boo'ing was aimed at the ref

To be fair to the likes of Palacious, Jenas, Pav, Bentley etc they are all getting odd games here and there so they will struggle to pick up the rythm of the team, which means they will have 'poor' games compared to the rest of the side. I'm assuming that Palacious will figure quite prominently in the next few games with Huddlestone and Jenas both injured, so I'm hoping his form will improve with games.

As for booing players that are playing and trying for your team then as far as I'm concerned it's out of order unless they do something that is stupid or inflammority.

still not sure what Campbell did that was wrong... he was perfectly entitled to run his contract down and get the best deal for himself.... he also won the Prem title with his next club I believe as well as play in a CL Final.... even scoring in it..

great servant for the club... he cost Spurs nothing in transfer-fee..... and paid his dues.... got to play for the greatest title-winning side possibly ever too: 'The Invincibles'...

to balance things up, we got the likes of Lennon and Bale cheaply..... so its all gravy..

Just like how them Scums hate Cashley Cole for abandoning them and win the league in his first year with Chelskum?
