^^I dont know what Gayreth(spawn of martin keown) said above because i have 'ignore' on but it was probabaly a load of bollocks. Good to see Hutton rested last night for the chavs on sunday, hes one of our only players who gets really fired up and he showed Murphy that on saturday! COYS

Back on thread, despite huttoms pace and attacking prowess he is a poor defender and that should be his number one priority as a stikers is to score goals in the prem ahem crouchie. He is decent cover for Corluka but shouldnt nail down the first team spot depsite his improvements given the chance. If he was to improve defensively which i doubt at this stage in his carreer he could warrant inclusion in the first team. It is unlikely though. Arry has his faves, crouch the croatians etc.

I wonder if alan will remain first choice for much longer given that Corluka has returned from Injury recently.

Čorluka has been on the bench for quite a few matches now. Probably Harry doesn't see the reason to drop Hutton just yet.

I have no idea what Gareth Keown said but I was impressed by Vedran on tues night, he looks solid in games where as Hutton does not. He is also quite tall, probably the tallest after the giraffe crouch which is hand at set pieces also.

very convincing bigv.... you have no idea what I said

I guess then if Arry brings back Hutton after resting him midweek, then continues to play Hutton ahead of dear Vedran, it must mean that Arry knows less about football than you so evidently do...

I wander who's gonna be back on the bench against Chavski.... methinks its dearest V....

I always think he looks like he is stuck in reverse when running but he is better than Hutton positionally.

Tempted to stick with Hutton as i think he brings more to the party.

I actually think that corluka links up better with Lennon as Hutton tends to cut inside more but I guess time will tell and Harry or Gareth Keown knows best!!! :uglystupid2:

Both players have different qualities.

Personally i would play Corluka as i feel he is more solid in defensively, Charlie may offer less offensively but for me that isn't as much as a priority as been better when we haven't got the ball. I think Corluka is actually decent offensively, and he can give Lennon an option on the over lap which is good. But for me Hutton looks shakey when he's not got the ball, which is a little scary.

Due to the level that he is playing and how its suits our attcking play I cant see Hutton being dropped and rightly so as his contributions are valuable in both directions!

Corluka is slow but solid defensively.... handy to bring on if we want to defend a healthy lead
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!
