I think one of the problems with our strikeforce is that harry doesnt really know his best combination up front or chops and changes too much leaving the likes of keane, crouch and pav unsure of their role and inconsistent as a result. strikers on top form play regularly and know the roles expected of them. Rotation is a great thing if it works. Stability is the key, injury permitting of course.

Spot on there bigv

I actually think that someone like Khumalo would be an excellent addition as CB cover.... should make the sale of Dawson and now Corluka that much easier to account for in January (hopefully)... we could get 6-8m for both if the likes of Newcastle and Bolton have enough cash..

Im sure you just write this garbage to start a confrontation!

Like Derry said, Daws has been our best and probably most consistant defender for the last 2 years. So Harry isn't going to sell him. Corluka is a decent RB just lacks a bit of speed, a target for the summer could be a quicker RB (unless the Kyle kids show some promise) but untill then Hutton and Charlie are ok.

I'd sell Jenas to Bolton for £6 million!!!!

Dawson will be lucky to make the half-time teas after he gets fit again... we have superceded the need for him now..

Corluka is probably gonna be behind Kaboul and even Hutton now for the RB slot.... we have enough additionalcover there with Kyle Walker.... sell the over-rated the 'is it running, is it walking' Corluka to Blackburn or similar..

Ibrahimovic is a world-renowned striker of the highest order on a par with Drogba, Torres, Etoo and Rooney, who has performed nay ... excelled.... at the highest levels of club-football..

I don't want that racist arrogant c*nt, no matter how good he is. Personally i think he is well overrated

he's probably over-rated by the same ppl that usually think Jenas is over-rated... I think he's on a par with Torres, Drogba as the complete centre-forward.... his Inter Milan stint was amazing..

but rest assured Ibrahimovic will not be joining Spurs....

I wouldn't be so sure... Martin O'neil thinks he's a terrible footballer and O'neil was interested in Jeans when he was at villa

well I guess I'm wrong then... Martin O'Neil thinks he's not even an average footballer (for instance Steve Sidwell) but a terrible one .... how could I have been so wrong ??

On what grounds? We are desperatly short of CB's at the moment. King can only play once a week for how long? Gallas is no spring chicken, Woodgate seems to be on scrap heap. That leaves Bassong and Kaboul, the latter may well be at RB again. So selling Dawson would be stupid. Yes he's slow, but it doesn't make him rubbish. Even Capello picks him as well as Harry

Keown, you should get back to your day job rather than rant on how crap Dawson is. When he most certainly isn't!!

King can play 2 games a week generally.... he had a groin injury recently which stopped him from playing...

Bassong is an able leftside CB (naturally left-foted too which helps)..... Kaboul can play virually anywhere in the back4 and has done so very well: RB, rightside C|B even leftside CB.....

Gallas has a torn muscle which can happen to anyone, he doesnt have a chronic condition like King has...

thats 2 great C|Bs and 2 very good CBs to spare..... then we also have THudd (ex-CB) and Corluka too (tho on a par with Dawson)..

we will also have Khumalo soon enough...... Dawson is not a certain regular or even close..

I think a striker is a must. Love to get a proven goalscorer, someone to match say VDV profile but wouldn't actually know anyone of a high level we could definately attract. We need to qualify again for CC and start being known to be consistent 3-4th place finishers. I don't think we are far off from doing so, and being say a Seville equivalent in the EPL.  I think we will do very well in the CC this year though, just hope we have the ability to get top four at the same time, which I'm not confident with. That said we have the players, and the manager, and of course we have awesome fans :)

At the risk of sounding crazy, outside of a high profile striker I wouldn't mind a punt on Andy Carroll. Did make me think wehn we had a few links between him and spurs...
