Oi Keown what does that say about Jenas he was subbed and Modric was left on the pitch and for the second game running Modric was our best player.

Jenas was s**t and don't come up with any s**t about being rested for tuesday he was just proper s**t end of !!!! 'Arry should of played Sandro in his place at least he tries even if he isn't up to spoeed yet !!

Both Jenas and Keane were a waste of space against Man Ure

Jenas was a disgrace yesterday, totally useless and no way good enough at this level. If we are to move forward we must sell him in the next window. It was like playing with 10 men yesterday against a United 11 and a referee who had a United top on underneath his shirt.

More like 9, as Lennon was completely anonymous as well. Jenas always drifts in and out but yesterday even when he'd drifted in he mainly gave the ball away. I don't think we can persevere with him any longer. He has talent but he is so frustrating, we need somebody who is consistent hopefully Sandro will step up or maybe Harry doesn't fancy any of them and so the continuing interest in Muntari

lol... same old same old from the 'experts' yet again... quel surpreeeeeez ??

Jenas had a beloe-par day yesterday, as did a few others, but to listen to the bleating its as if he's played at that level the last 20+ games for Spurs.... lets forget that even the greatModric a few games this season, as well as THudd and even Palacios have had similar games recently, cos we know how to turn a well-primed blind-eye there dont we ??..

Jenas has to play at 9/10 level to earn a rating of even a 6/10 from the proleteriot, that much is expected... ... coaches know that no player performs at his best always, and to their minds Jenas has played the vast majority of games even recently at a very respectable level.... unlike Modric even who has struggled to impose himself over the full 90mins of most games he's managed to convince the gavver to play him in..

Jenas will CONTINUE to play regularly for this Spurs team... and there isnt a damn thing  little small-minded people can do about it....

Learn to spell your daily vocabulary words, sir. I give you a 2/10 for that last comment.

Harry had to get Jenas out of the ManUtd game because it was just a matter of time before we paid the price for one of his careless fouls. He made two terrible tackle attempts  just outside the box (one in each half) that were the result of very poor technique and lack of judgment. That has nothing to do with form.
He's strained his left adductor muscle it says. Whats that then ? Do we all have those or just footballers ? I wonder how mine are ? *courtesy of taimedowne*

yeah that Jenas, so agressive with his tackling...... oh hang on, dont you sheep always complain that he is too soft when it comes to tackling.....  :2funny:

but lets humour you all for a sec..... so Arry takes the over-agressive mad-tackling Jenas off after 60mins (not half-time) to bring on the placid demure Palacios instead....even in your desperate attempts to justify your hate-campaign against Jenas you stupify with your unbelievably poor logic...

can you guess who's gonna be starting against Inter tonight yet.... after being rested for the last 30mins on Saturday??....

I like JJ. I've said that many times. Think he's a cool dude. He's just not our best central midfielder.

Beautiful dive by La Jenas last night...got exactly what it deserved  :smug:

Not wishing to add to any 'conspiracy' that a certain poster appears to think exists, but, for me, Jenas consistently underperforms when given opportunities and I feel that Keane, Jenas and Bentley will (Or should be) off-loaded.

From me and the rest of the sheep....BAAAAA!!! BAAAAAAH!!!

By the way, never said anything about Jenas poor tackling in the ManU game being the result of hyper-aggressiveness. In fact, it was just the opposite. He was late, lazy, and sloppy with a couple of his challenges. (Clipped Hernandez needlessly in the 1st and stepped in late catching Fletcher's back leg in the second - both between 25-30 yds). And I'd still like to hang out with the guy. He's a pimp - lol.

His dive was embarrassing. It really was. I'd completely forgotten about that because I was so pleased with the result. I'm glad he got booked for it.

and I'm sure Bale never has been known to exaggerate a tackle on him in the box either.... cos if he did, no doubt you'd be giving him just as much stick  :ohyeah:

I didnt see the game, but after seeing Jenas play for Spurs for many years now, I can't remember too many incidents like the 1 you fair-minded Jenas-critics have made a mountain out of...
