sounds like it would be good if we get him. Dawson and metzelder at the back sounds good and although ledly king is an excellant player i dont think he will ever be back tofull fitness:hang:

^^^ lol u clown metzelder is one of the best center backs in germany

i would put him in the same class as babbel in his better days(pre liverpool)

it'll be very hard to get him infront of real but who knows...we got berby in front of united!!

Not sure why we are going for another defender, makes me wonder about Kings Future. But i never really seen him play but i have heard good things

im not sure if it would be that good a buy, a centre back isn't what we need, we have rocha and dawson and ledley is on his way back.

Maybe we should spend our money on something we need

I think Gardener will go in the summer which with only Dawson, King and Rocha could leave us a bit short. To be honest I have not been impressed with Rocha seems a bit slow and his positioning is suspect at times. Hopefully he will improve as he adjusts to the prem but we definitely need to bring in someone else in this position with King seemingly becoming injury prone of late.

metzelder is going to real...but spurs shouldn't be too sad about that.

he is playing for my hometeam since years and i have to say, he was more injured than on the pitch.
he did quite well for the german nationalteam but not in dortmund. dortmund fans used to love him but in the last months big discussion started about him and most of the fans are happy that he is leaving.

why do we keep looking at centre halfs? Dawson and King are surely the future for the next 5-10 years and with Mills, Gardner, Rocha, Defendi we should have cover for now and potentially the future. Once we know these players dont provide adequate cover (davenport) then I can see the sence in replacing them. Just seems strange when we are crying out for lefties
