Running on Sky Sports News on the ticker tape that 'Arry has confirmed his interest in Micah Richards and Craig Bellamy at Man Citeh.
Also the news of Martin O'Neill leaving Villa will get things moving Richards, Bellamy and Young all at Spurs by end of next week after Milner moves to Citeh !!!!!

so Arry is after both Richards and Bellamy eh .... that certainly is breaking news alright.

and here's some more breaking news: Citeh will flirt with us til the last possible moment, then turn around when we have little time left to look elsewhere, and then say NO...

but I really think Arry & Co know this already and are using the Citeh boyz as a smokescreen to get others in.... Loic Remy or Huntelaar will be in a Spurs shirt soon enough... Crouch will leave (preferably to a town with abundance of busty nymphettes, to contrast with the ironing-board he has at home)

if Milner goes as virtually certain now, and having MON resign yesterday, will make it impossible for the randy learner to also sell Young, as the fans would turn on him swiftly..... so Arry can forget about swap-deals for the Youngster..

we still need another experienced CB and a backup GK..... these shouldnt  be too difficult to achieve..

I think if the Young deal was really the cause of O' Neils resignation it must have been at a pretty advanced stage. He wouldn't have quit if it was just an idea being bandied about, he'd have said sell Young and I'm off, and Learner would have stopped it right there. The last thing Villa needed was to find themselves in the mess they are in now. If I'm right then the deal will go through and Learner will take the flak. I doubt he cares what the fans think if so he would be the 1st Chairman who did. He made a loss last year and is looking to recoup his cash then he'll be off club sold to the highest bidder.

Just reported on TalkSport that Bellamy has given an interview saying he is worried he won't make the final 25 squad for Man Citeh, sounds like he's trying to manouvre himself a move out of Citeh to me !!!!

Apparently Citeh have let him talk to Wolfsburg but he dosen't fancy that, sooooo I wonder how long it will be before some serious dialect starts up between us and Citeh ?

Bellamy is undoubtely a very good player but as we know he can be very disruptive

Do we really want Ashley young (another good player)when we have Nico and Gio and Bale and Lukaespecially if we are keeping Keane

BAE is improving all the time and I don't think Bale will play LB this season although Harry says he likes him for there eventually

Kaboul is better than Micah Richardsin my opinion

So who do we want?

some goodish points Sandroman.

but disagree that Bellamy would be a disruptive influence with Spurs, as I think he wold have the trust of a coach that actually brought him in, and who values his experience and playing ability. Bellamy would be a huge asset to Spurs, which is exactly why the Moss Bros dummy Mancini will never allow him to come to Spurs..

I think we have enough games to be able to play both Bale and BAE at LB, and Bale will be used at LM sometimes too..

Kaboul is a better player than Richards (tho not as 'famous') as well as better than Corluka.... Arry knows this and will play Kaboul accordingly.

Loic Remy is the key to a great transfer-window now.... I think he will give us more than Huntelaar would..

and keep Dos Santos and Keano !!...... then we won't need Bellamy.

I saw that interview he kept saying he wanted to go to Cardiff as his family was there. He has no intention of going to Germany and there was no direct mention of Spurs although he did say one or two other teams had been in for him. Would he really want to drop down a division? Could Cardiff afford him ? I thought they were skint. All will become clear soon enough.

what Bellamy said about Cardiff and Germany are irrelevant... he wont go to either for differing reasons.... and Citeh WILL NOT sell/loan him to Spurs (as he would undoubtedly strengthen a serious rival)... Bellamy will end up somewhere innocuous for Citeh eg. Fulham or Sunderland... Citeh might even pay him to go to Cardiff..

just as long as they can stop Bellamy putting on a Spurs shirt..

keep Dos Santos and Keano now..... forget Bellamy. or use him in the Media as a smokescreen..

just seen some clips of Roic Lemy in action from last season.... certainly has great pace and balance, can play wide as well as down the middle, good 1st-touch and seems a natural finisher from the ease he took his goals..

kinda reminds me abit of that French guy that went to New York Red Bulls just recently...

Tott'nham for Adel Taarbt. I heard he’s got a good feel of the ball; young etc., he’d be perfect for us . . .

:2funny: I've heard that Rodrigo Defendi is a pretty promising central defender.

Although Gareth your post is a little confusing when you contradict yourself, by saying what he said about Cardiff is is irrelevant, when you admit he might even end up at Cardiff but I do agree with you that City won't let him go to us, and he will end up being reunited with Hughes at Fulham, if not Celtic, but there is a chance of ending up at Cardiff surprisingly. And also I am not sure Bellamy is the answer either given I would rather Dos Santos as a backup wide player on the left, Bellamy does have the experience over him although, and that is what Harry is looking for and someone who is a positive influence in the dressing room, with passion and determination, I do believe he is a bit volatile and there is a high risk that he will not gel personally with our squad.

Bellamy said he is considering Cardiff as his wife and kids are there, this is not the first time he has said this, although I would be surprised if they had the money for him.

I really cannot see Citeh sending a very good player to Spurs and strengthen us.... the words gun, foot and bullet spring to mind.... Dos Santos is the surprise package for Arry recently and I think he's seriously impressed by Gio's new discipline, work-thic and allround quality... I would keep him.

alternatively, getting A.Young for a nominal 20m makes sense as we could ship players to the said value of.... Keano (11m mooted), Bentley, Hutton..... thus get a quality player for 3 players surplus to requirements.... 2 birds 1 stone..

still think the key to us will be to get a tall, pacy forward who scores as well as provide assists.... this guy Remy seems to be ideal in ability, age, price, pace, versatility..
