Arry NOT looking for City rejects
« on: August 01, 2010, 05:02:18 PM »
today its been revealed that Arry has stated that he will be looking for some bargains, possibly even loan-signings, from Man City.... as they have so many players that wont make 'the 25' in the upcoming Prem squad listed by 2nd September.... this can only mean 1 thing..

that Arry in fact DOESN'T really think that City will strengthen their main rival for 4th next term, by selling/loaning us even their 2nd-string players... as 1-2 like Micah Richards and Bellamy, tho under-rated by Mancini, could well come and bite them in the arse if they came to Spurs.

now City are the 1 team (possibly Chelsea too I guess) that wouldnt think twice about not regainin the multi-millions they have spent on players like Bellamy, Sante Cruz, Adebayor etc, if they think that keeping these players away from rivals like us and merely 'mothballing' such players will help them get 4th or higher next season.

Arry I think now knows this, after many pointless weeks trying to negotiate deals for Richards in particular, and now Bellamy...... City have no intention to strengthen us even slightly, but will PRETEND to the last minute that a deal may be possible - to give us minimal time to try for alternatives.

Arry will say that City will be a source for our 2-3 new signings... but really it will serve as a smokescreen.... he will get other players from elsewhere soon enough..

Curtis Davies..... Carlton Cole.... and possibly a BIG-NAME eg. Arda Turan (to appeaase the fans with)..

I can see Keano going to West Ham with O'Hara and Hutton for Carlton Cole.... or Keano will go for C.Davies + 2m-3m

Turan for Dos Santos + 4m.

I think Arry sees Bellamy as a possible strategic addition for the same reason he bid for Parker..... namely, he needs a leader in the team that can galvanise the rest - something which the quiet, and now occasional player, Ledley does not provide... Keano used tro provide that dressing-room voice but his stock has considerably dropped since his Liverpool episide..

I'm not saying a sergeant-major like Parker is what we need, but I actually think that the zany, passionate but strangely likeable Belllamy may be what Arry feels is missing currently.

don't think we'll get him tho, as City won't sell to us for even 20m.... they know of his hidden-value to us (their main rivals next year).

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

latest gossip seems to centre on Crouchy going to West Ham (or Pool).

think Carlton Cole and Nosey Parker may be on  way in a mega-deal involving 4 from Keano, Crouchy, Bentley, O'Hara, Hutton..

something is deffo gonna be happening soon, as Arry will want deals done by CL matches time... lets not 4get there's the week intl. break too to factor in before 14/8..

West Ham, Villa (C.Davies) to be our feeder-clubs this summer.

Crouch for Carlton Cole ???? do me a favour. Coles not bad but certainly no better than Crouch. We need to strengthen not just have a change of faces. Crouch sold to Fulham or Liverpool has been suggested which would be ok if a superior fwd was brought in. Suarez for example. But with Keane probably going I dont see Cole as the answer to our striking problems. Maybe they thought the Joe Cole deal was nailed on and have got themselves stuck with a load of shirts already printed that they need to shift.

youre faling into the well-utilised trap of going for the BIG-NAME player, rather than the player possessing the components that will add value to our attack - a very common mistake among fans.

we need a striker who has pace/power as well as height, to play the target-man role in a 4-4-2 or even the lone striker in a 4-2-3-1 (or variant).... a player that will compliment his partner in any pairing upfront eg. with Defoe or Pav (or similar).

getting a BIGNAME like Suarez at 25m+ will not add the components listed upfront. Rather, Suarez (a goal-poacher) will compete with our 2 current goal-poachers Defoe and Pav - making it less of a strike-pairing. 3 very similar players who will not link that well with anyone else and will play only to get a shot at goal in - also will not add power with height, and won't capitalise on deep crosses into the box.

the fact that Crouch now seems to be on the bargaining-table reinforces the possibility of a Carlton Cole-type player arriving, as without Crouch we'd have no aerial option whatsoever.

its gonna be Carlton Cole by 1st September latest..... or someone very similar.

49 goals in a season, Suarez must be a bit more than a goal poacher. I'll admit it's probably an inferior league but, who would have said no to Henrik Larssen when he was banging them in for Celtic. If he scored even half that total for us he'd be worth the money and I doubt he'd cost as much as you think he's out of contract soon and Ajax are desperate to sell although it probably wont be to us.

Suarez proved in the WC that he has what it takes, doubt Levy will splash out 25m for Suarez or anyone, else, even if Harry would want the move, he is on a tight leash.

The only way we will get Bellamy is if Man C can't find anyone else to loan him to, we would be a last resort only, there is only one player that I am confident we will get and it has been confirmed by Harry, Stipe Pletikosa.

Can't see Crouch going, anywhere Harry's signing, tactically he provides height obviously and someone who can hold up the ball, for Defoe to run off and to compliment his style, probably just tabloids crap.

Arry said yesterday that Crouch is staying, so he probably will (as he is a good squad player who is also good in the dressing-room, team-spirit, impact-sub etc)... and for only 7m I'd rather keep him than have the dosh.

still doubt we'll get Bellamy, as Mancini will ratherr not send him to Spurs, as we are his main rivals next term.

C.Cole looks to be off now, as the porn-barons at Wet Spam dislike us hugely after Eidurgate and now Parkergate... and they dont need that much more money in order to make a Prem-survival squad (if they keep the main guys)..

C.Davies, Yannick Djalo and Huntelaar are my 3 to arrive now..... Arry will need Huntelaar's 'bigname' to appease a few fans, and he aint that bad a player and has the attributes we still lack upfront... 10m should do the trick.
