not being a Spurs supporter myself unlike your own self-proclamations, I do find the feeding-frenzy of you little people over 1 of your own team/squad spiked with such venomous insulting abuse quite amusing...

considering the player in question is quite easily the best all-round (therefore most complete) midfielder at the club, its even more amusing.... but does confirm a trait I long suspected existed among the troglodyte-supporters of any club :-

you simply can't teach trigonometry to a troupe of red-arsed baboons.

Jenas is playing much better this season but he still doesnt seem to bring much to the party which is a shame as is apparently one of the best players in the world. And he did hit the crossbar in the Soccer AM crossbar challenge.

or maybe.... what he does bring ... and consistently so.... is something that flies over most supporters pointy little heads....

which may explain why every single top manager (and even Arry) rates him enough to play him far more often than not when the guy is available and free from injury...

Bolty... I agree with you that nothing has changed for years...

Jenas is STILL the best all-round midfielder by a mile, ever since he 1st came to the club..

and alot of the Spurs supporters are STILL too weak intellectually to appreciate anything beyond what is the glaringly obvious, according to their own points of reference...... no shiny objecty, no likey

I think Jenas' appearance figures when fully fit over the years for Spurs are indeed a matter of fact.

it could probably be argued that Jenas ticks more boxes for attributes required of a midfielder than any other player at Spurs.... that would be a fact too, if the exercise was ever carried out..

its also a popular fact that large numbers of Spurs supporters (and fans) dislike the guy far and beyond any possible lack of poor performances would sustain..... the vilification goes beyond any even perceived lack of good performances.... it strikes me as far more personal and has a touch of the 'I'm 1 of the lads me' mentality, if I dislike Jenas alot...
