Connor Wickham

Firstly, who the hell is he???? To answer this question I thought I'd "borrow" the mirrors Who the Hell is He???? page. So here's 10 fact about the 17 year old.

Quote
1) Wickham has only just signed his first professional contract - he only turned 17 on March 31.
2) Despite his age, the highly-rated striker is already 6ft 4in tall and 14 stone.
3) He made his debut for Ipswich in April 2009, aged 16 years and 11 days, coming on as a substitute in a 3–1 home defeat against Doncaster. That made him the club's youngest ever player, beating the record set by Jason Dozzell in February 1984.
4) He scored his first two goals for the club in only his fourth appearance, in a League Cup first round tie against Shrewsbury.
5) Wickham has represented England at Under-16 and Under-17 level.
6) He scored a hat-trick in just 21 minutes for England in a 4-0 UEFA Under-17 Championship win against Azerbaijan in Baku last month.
7) Whenever Wickham plays for either Ipswich's first team or reserves, the club has to find around two dozen tickets for the scouts who come to watch him.
8) The consensus of opinion is that he's as good as Wayne Rooney was at the same age, but a lot bigger.
9) Ipswich manager Roy Keane is not one to go overboard about a young player, but even he admits: "Connor is a great talent, there's no doubt about that."
10) Former Ipswich and England defender Kevin Beattie has already called Wickham, "an incredible talent," adding: "The boy has everything, strength, skill, the lot. It would not surprise me if he were partnering Wayne Rooney up front for England in a few years time. He impresses me that much."
I've longed hoped that we would sign a player, that matches this kids desciption. Someone who could be our Henry, but English. If he's as good as people say he is then I think we need to snap him up asap. Do you lot think we should sign him???

He's still young, staying in the championship for him would be best for him at the mo,get a few games under hes belt and hes still learning. Rather then just sitting on the bench for Us/Premership club.

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

Yeah we were linked to him couple weeks back, apparently offer was that we would loan them back, we have a friendly with Ipwisch, I was hoping this transfer was true and the the friendly was part of the deal. There has been quite allot of comparisons between Wickham and Rooney, just hope it doesn't go to his head and ruin him. Buy him loan him back if he is as half as good as they say, definitely needs development.

There was talk of a buy him back clause which was holding up negotiations, so if we get, and find out hes sh*te, then we can send him back and get some money back in return. I say buy him and keep him on loan at ipswich for a couple of seasons.

Wow crazy clause can't see any one going for that, buy him loan him back with option to recall, maybe send them another of our other youngsters to firm the deal.
