I think you'll find the reason that 'Arry was sacked was because he was getting too popular and if Levy had backed him and we had finished 3rd then there was no way he could of dropped him like he did .... only my thoughts but I think Levy basically stabbed 'Arry in the back for being honest !!!!!

I think thats touching on the ridiculous, don't you ? There were far deeper reasons for their falling out I'm sure. Levy wants us to be the best just like we all so. Whether his methods will work remains to be seen.

So enlighten us to the reasons behind 'Arrys sacking if it wasn't personal what was it ?

As to Levy wanting us to be the best ....... I think Levy wants us too make money if we become successful as a by product then that's a bonus in his eyes !!!

Unfortunately I dont know exactly why Levy sacked Harry, I just dont believe it was for lack of success on the pitch. My feeling is that, as I have said before, when the England job becoming available was first mentioned, towards the end of last year if I remember correctly, at that point the media immediately named Harry as the favorite to take over. At that point Harry should have come out and said not interested, I'm under contract at Spurs and happy with that. Its all very well for Harry to slag off Modric last August and say " he's had his head turned " when the same thing applied to Harry.
That is why I think Levy stopped supporting him at that point, and wouldn't sanction any more spending until the matter of who would be manager was resolved. He must have anticipated Harry taking the job, as most people did. Whats the good of splashing millions on Tevez and Cahill, two of the biggest mercenaries in the game, if the next prospective manager didn't want them ??
I say again, what would you have done in Levy's shoes when Harry wouldn't commit to a new contract while the England job was still in the offering.

I believe 'Arry actually did state at several points he was under contract at Spurs and that he was fully committed to us, he also said honestly in my opinion that if the England job was offered to him he would like to speak to the FA. While all this was going on we were still in third and if I'm right it was the media who constantly pushed the 'Arry for England headlines, and why not if your offered the top job in your profession why shouldn't you take it (I really hoped he wouldn't but I could understand him if he did).
'Arry was only being honest he owed us no more loyalty than the next player we sign, he was a paid employee of THFC and a bloody good one too, Levy was the one that cost 'Arry the England job because once again he saw £ signs asking for huge compensation and once he f**ked 'Arry's chances with the FA he did the same to 'Arry and f**ked him too.

Everything that has happened over the last 5 years has been down too Levy and money ... period and if your happy with the way he has got rid of Jol and 'Arry then fine. But now we have scrapped the bottom of the barrel with AVB, Freund and Mr unknown coach and as long as your happy with that then great I'm happy for you but we are getting a reputation and it is a good one !!!!

Arry did absolutely nothing wrong concerning the England job. He once said, many moons ago that any English man would be proud to take the England the job, and he would be no different. That is hardly the same as knocking down the door at the FA and insisting you are to be the next manager. What he said is absolutely true. If your country comes after you, you go. Personally I would be disgusted with any manager of any team that thought different. Off the top of my head I can't think of any English club manager that has refused the opportunity to manage his country. I find it amazing that any chairman, or supporter could hold this against him.

If he were to prostitute himself around other clubs in order to gain a few extra quid a week, I would find this highly offensive. However many supporters think this is acceptable. Martin Jol got caught doing just this. Jol's head had been turned  by clubs such as Newcastle, and he totally lost the plot. We were 2nd from bottom and had just been dumped out of the EUFA cup. His sacking was not a minute to early in my opinion. I still find it amazing though that there are morons that attend WHL that still sing his name.

Arry is in the past now, and we have no choice but to give AVB a chance. Believe me though, he will be gone in a year !!

Victory for the team at Old Trafford proud day for THFC AVB and the boys!

All the Arry was teh greatest bollox, he didnt give a s**t about our great club even if chelsea or similar close rival came calling offreing a fiver more he would have been off let alone England!

Has anyone noticed not a single club has gone for Arry...... wonder why loyalties maybe a concern for any board?

AVB, his staff and our current team are our immediate future pointless dwelling on the past get behind the team and AVB, Levy has invested 50+ million in teh last transfer window second highest spend in the EPL behind Chelsea for someone who is said to be tight that aint a bad spend and we got some quality!!!
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

Whilst there has been an awful lot of "s**te" written about Levy. There is also a minimal amount of truth that has been written, Yes he did spend 50+ million on players but I also believe we were the only club to make money during the transfer window I think we made a profit of 13 million so please do not start singing he praises just yet, there is a very old saying "that you have to speculate in order to accumulate" I do not think that Mr Levy has exactly Speculated, do you.Maybe he should have spent some of the 13 million on another striker instead!! :-\ :-\ :-\  and yes yesterdays result was one that everybody should be very proud of it was a truly MAGNIFICENT performance I cannot wipe the Smile off of my Face, to see that scottish twats face at the end was marvellous  :ohyeah:   :2funny: :2funny:

No mate, Levy invested absolutely nothing in the squad this summer, in fact the players we sold brought in £10m more than we spent. Our squad is so thin we have players on the bench some of us have never heard of. We will never be successful as long as Levy is at the wheel !!

OH right.......I get it. First win at OT for 23 years, and thats not being successful. As I recall, under Harry last year we lost 3-0.
Also we completely outplayed the Serie A leaders, and on another day with another ref would have won 4 or 5 - 0.
Our second string team win away midweek at Carlisle 3-0, when in such fixtures last season (Stevenage) we scraped a draw.
Dembele, Dempsey, Verthongen, Caulker, Naughton, Sigurdsson. All new and doing well.Lloris for the future.
What you got to say to that Mr Baldbloke ??
