Tottenham have confirmed that Lee Young-pyo will miss the remainder of the season due to a knee injury. The South Korean international tore his ligaments in the first leg of the Uefa Cup quarter-final defeat to Sevilla and will now undergo surgery in a bid to correct the problem. His rehabilitation is likely to last up to three months, meaning Spurs boss Martin Jol will be without the full-back for the club's final five games of the campaign."It's a shame for Young-pyo," Jol told the club's official website. "He's having surgery and will be out for the rest of the season and a big part of May and June as well."Hopefully he'll be back in July for our pre-season preparations but as it stands, he'll be out for two-and-a-half to three months."Lee made 30 appearances in all competitions for Spurs this season, having battled with young Frenchman Benoit Assou-Ekotto for the left-back position.
