Hutton on Loan to Sunderland
« on: February 02, 2010, 10:10:53 AM »
Sunderland have signed Tottenham defender Alan Hutton on loan until the end of the season.

The Scotland international, 25, has made just one Premier League start this season, with Vedran Corluka preferred as the first-choice right-back.

"We have tracked him for some time," Sunderland manager Steve Bruce told the club's official website.

"We have been particularly short of defensive options of late so Alan will come in at a very opportune time."

Hutton has made 40 appearances for Spurs since signing for £9m from Rangers in August 2008, but has found himself marginalised by the form of Croatian Corluka.

However, Bruce believes the Glasgow-born full-back will have a pivotal role to play at the Stadium of Light.

"We're delighted to have brought him here until the end of the season," added Bruce.

"I'm sure he will have a big part to play between now and May."

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

Walker has been recalled from Sheffield United so we still have cover but i dont understand Hutton and Naughton going out on loan surely one on loan (Hutton) and keep the Kyles here. Good luck to Hutton, he can be a good defender at times and i hope he does well on his loan spell at Sunderland, maybe if he plays well there is a view to pernament deal.

Should we keep Hutton when he returns from Sunderland or shall we flog him to them/Toon?

I personally think we should cash in on him as he's playing half decent for them, we have cover ar right back in Kyle Walker and Kyle Naughton.
I don't think Hutton will be happy playing seconf fiddle to Corluka next season
