As for the main topic.

I would be absolutely ecstatic if Wesley came to us. If Jol managed to bring him here I would be happy if we bought nobody else all summer. He is that good. He is a player with so much falir and ability and would improve our team dramatically and would be the difference between fifth and fourth. I don't think it is too farfetched and I think they should do all they can to get him to the Lane. He is the player Berbatov needs and hopefully Dimi would have a word with him, class and class and all. Davids is at Ajax yes..maybe he will recommend us, you never know

Wesley is better than Babel but I'd take either tbh.

MJ is very well respected in his homeland as a player and coach so hopefully that will have an advantage. Like you said, he needs to work his connections to our advantage

You are wrong. Why ? Because if a manager really wants a player, he WOULD use all his available connections to get him signed. I believe Mr JOL is no exception to this rule. So may be the right question is - does MJ wants Sneider or not ? And, does Sneider wants to come to Spurs or not ? Dutch players are usually over-ambitions and over-waged (or at least they want to be such) and Sneider might just be a part of that group.

Or perhaps - should we wait and see ? :-)

No way is jenas better, and if that price tag is true, the only realistic way we'd be able to get sneijder to even talk to us is probably by selling jenas.

The only way we'll see sneijder move to spurs is if jol personally brings him here. We're going up in the world, but Valencia are a bigger club at the moment, perhaps where we will be in a few years time.

Guys, I've replied in this Topic once, but I will do it again.

Some idiot said Jermaine Jenas is better than Wesley Sneijder. No way! At age 23 he's one of the stars from Ajax and probably one of the best midfielders in the world. He scored 18 times this season, as a left-midfielder! Wesley is amazing. Perfect with his right- and leftfoot, great technique, great shot, great passing... His only weak point is his length. Wesley is very small, but still he is worldclass.

I think Wesley would be a sensational signing for you, but I don't think he would leave Ajax for Spurs. He wants to go to a worldclass league, but he also wants to stay at Ajax if we won't let him go. Valencia and FC Barcelona both haven't got enough money for Sneijder. Maybe Barca is selling Deco, to by Wesley....
