New Foolham boss has had to let Wayne Routlegde return to us this week after being on loan there. Not entirley sure how he got on there, ok i guess.
Wondered what you guts think BMJ will do with him this season? Or what you would like to see happen to Wayne?
Baring in mind we did battle incredably hard with Palace to sign, unfortunatly the emergance of a certain Aaron Lennon has seen him be shipped out on loan for the past 1 1/2 / 2 years!
Personally i think he is a good back up for Azza, god forbid anything happened to the pocket sized winger, but would he be happy playing second fiddle to Lennon, or will Jol let him move on??

thoughts please fellas!

Keep him...

Lennon needs another winger @ the club, so he himself can get more rest. See if he's happy with that 4 this season coming bt if ain't ship hm off in jan/end of nxt season. But we shouldn't loan him again.
Get Moussa Sissoko In Spurs!!!!

And come on City, break that bloomin' top 4!

Yeah, keep him on the bench and throw him on if we need a goal late in the game, and give him a few starts ahead of our injured/tired LM and Lennon. :)

I say the same we should keep Wayne as back up for Aaron amd when he needs a rest. If he (Routledge) is happy to stay then we keep hold off him if that ain't the case we ship him off.  But I do agree we can't keep loaning him out to other teams.

if we fail to sign a l/m then i would play him on the right with lennon on the left!!

I say sell him & sign someone with a higher profile. To be honest, I'd forgotten about him.

Lennon has started to look tired, a bit of rotation wouldn't hurt and it would have the added effect of letting Lennon know he isnt irreplacable as (I suspect)  his ego may be starting to tell him.

Competition is good for the overal health of the squad.

Bring him back for now imo. Give a season to prove he can cut it with the best. Plus will give Lennon some competition.

Lennons back up?

Lennon has not been in great form of late. I would not dare question Jol but his insistance on playing him on the left I am not sure about. Routeledge can go round a player and cross's well but everytime I watched him he was alright nothing special. In this game sad as it is you have to hit the ground running if he is happy to play 20 minutes of a game because I don't see him as anymore than back up. At least we can play the same way if Lennon is not availble.
My preferrence would be to sell him and find someone else.

I think we should sell him and use the money to get someone new. I don't think he'd really be happy being Lennon's back up either, bit of a waste really.

I saw routledge play a few times this season and he looked decent enough to play on the left side for us if we cant sign anyone better.

Not convinced we should play him on the left, prefer steed over Routledge there imo!
Keeping him seems to me the best solution if thats what we can call it.
He would be available for when Azza gets tired etc!

Definatley keep him as competition and back up for our wingers.

If we should be selling any1 then its the murphys and ghaly type player, bring nothing to the team, pointless having them.

Amount of times this season when weve been 1 down ect and need to bring some1 off the bench to liven things up and the best weve got is ghaly, imo would rather have routeledge on the bench as he is capable of doing something.
