Tottenham are ready to tap into the lucrative Chinese market as they seek to strengthen their fanbase in the Far East.

The club have added Mandarin script next to the logo of the shirt sponsors Mansion on their away and third kits.

Spurs have introduced four new kits for next season and executive director Paul Barber said: "The Club has always enjoyed massive international support and it is a mark of our tradition and success that we can now look to broaden our appeal in markets such as China.

"Working in the Chinese market is an exciting prospect for us and for our partners, Mansion. We look forward to exploring the Chinese market in the years ahead working closely with Mansion, who already have many customers in this part of the world."

I think it's good we're extending our fanbase. Does anyone know what the writting means? (sorry if this question has already been answered elsewhere)

I think the writing means Mansion in the chinese language. It's good to hear that we are extending our fanbase in places like the far east.

I just hope the guy that wrote it wasn't a closet gooner or it could get messy. Do we have any Chinese Spurs fans on here to tell us what it actually says?

Oh I thought it said 'to dare is to do'
I thought that I read that somewhere but then again I could be making it up.

The thing is I think the negatives outway the positives (from a fan's point of view:

-Ruins the look of the shirt.
-Attarcts more tourists, therefore damaging the atmosphere.

But i suppose, the club could attract some businessmen 2 put a lt of money into the club...
Get Moussa Sissoko In Spurs!!!!

And come on City, break that bloomin' top 4!

I'll be convincing the Chinese that Spurs are the way forward next week, free trip paid for by work!!!
China's going to be a huge market and I think as other teams are going that way it would be foolish not to regardless of the other implications.
Its the random ignorance that makes me mad

Quite like it myself! Looks ok, a bit different, and demonstrates the boards desire to move forward and have a crack at attracting a broader fanbase, broader market for future signings and the club's commitment to biting at the arse of the Arse! - good move... I'm going to get one..

Just one thing - doesn't seem to appear on all shirt style/colours?
