So, some reports say Etienne Capoue and Lewis Holtby could be heading to Napoli and Borussia Dortmund respectively. Well, I wouldn't mind losing Capoue as I'm not sure why he was signed in a first place, but letting Holtby leave would be a big mistake. He's very young, his work-rate is exceptional, he's the captain of Germany's U21 national team... I think we're looking at a future Ballack or Özil here and it would be a grave mistake to let him go.

Sherwood knows that this is probably his last chance to manage a top team and keep his job; therefore he must make sure he has the players to be a top 4 team. We do need another striker as a back up.

Apparently Heurelho Gomes is moving back to PSV Eindhoven. All the best to him. Yes, he did make mistakes, but all keepers do. The way Spurs have treated him for the past two years, is despicable.

Apparently Gomes has denied that he will be leaving for PSV for the moment. I wonder if his lack of appearances had anything to do with AVB and perhaps we will see him again with Sherwood in charge before the end of the season. Who knows!

Yeah, I just found out as well. Anyway, they should let him leave as he has plenty to offer, but I cannot see him dislodging Lloris (who has hinted he could be forced to leave in Summer unless we qualify for CL).

I have always rated Gomes, a keeper of great natural ability who made some mistakes and lost his confidence and got utterly destroyed for it, unfairly so! I would like to see him get his career back on track so I wish him all the best whatever happens.

For Lloris to stated he will look at things in the summer if we dont qualify for CL tells me he is having doubts about his future with us!  a big concern.

       I think it would be a big mistake to let either of them go, in the few games that Capoue played before he got injured he looked to add that bit of muscle to the midfield, much like Sandro, and his ball distribution, I thought, was excellent it would be a big mistake to let him go. I said right from the first time Holtby played that he is going to be a future star for us, his work rate cannot be faulted and his first touch and vision is very very good, to let him go after just 12 months would not only be FOOLISH but STUPID. He will become a Top Class Player and one that we should definitely persevere with.
         Just my opinion.
