He`s about to walk like an Egyptian!

His behaviour last night was just not on.  He was having a bad game, we needed to change things up, and it worked.  Seems he has forgot that Spurs are a TEAM, not his private playpen.:bruce_h4h:

Attitude was terrible, he was having a very poor game.  When Keane came on the whole game changed, it was Keane's pass to Berbatov that set up our goal. Up to that Berbatov was getting frustrated, and rightly so, at the lack of service.  We spent most of the hight turning attack into defence.  Ghaly should have held his hands up, and admitted that he was having a bad game instead of behaving like a spoilt child.

Jol has said that he will deal with Ghaly, hopefully he will be out.

He said that, did he? Well then, I guess there's less chance of him being in then of a snowball staying intact in a molten pit then, eh? :p Good. We don't need cancers in the lineup when Europe is on the line. ;)

Not the best of games he had a poor game and when Robbie came on everything changed. It was frustrating game that we should have won. Ghaly in my opinion should go because after last night his behaviour was unacceptable and hopefully MJ sorts it out.

I hope to never see him in a spurs shirt again! Flog him now.

I'm sure MJ will teach him a lesson.

I'v enever rated him, he's never done anything for us.

According to reports I heard this morning he left the ground before the game finished. This disrespect cannot be tolerated and Ghaly will obviously now be sold in the summer. It's a shame to see one of our players behave this way I just hope it doesn't have a negative affect on team morale.

Taken from BBC Sport:

Spurs boss Martin Jol says he will deal with Hossam Ghaly internally after the Egyptian's show of indiscipline.

Ghaly is expected back in training on Friday after throwing his shirt to the ground when substituted in Tottenham's 1-1 draw with Blackburn on Thursday.

Jol said: "We always deal with this sort of thing.

"We have certain rules and arrangements, whether it is Dimitar Berbatov, Robbie Keane or Jermain Defoe or Hossam Ghaly."

I have nothing to add what is not said yet in this thread. Gahly's action was just poor. Even if I understand, he was dissapointed and hurt...but throwing his shirt to the ground in direction of Jol just showed that he's done with Spurs!
And Spurs are done with him now after that.
There is no excuse for a behaviour like this!!!!
if i had balls, they would be bigger than yours ;)

hhmmm i wonder if your views would be the same if berbs or king threw there shirt at jol???

i say the guy was a little pissed off at being subbed then subbed again....if anyones to blame its jol...when steed got taken off he should have replaced him with keano then...we could all see it was a mistake not starting him ...what hossam did was wrong but in my eye its no worse than when defoe rounded the keeper and tried to pass to tanio...berbs went all crazy at him and was giving him funny looks for the rest of the game...every time defoe passed to someone other than berbs berbie got the hump....throwing his arms around like a spoilt kid....

^^^ oh so true^^^
berbatovs behavior isnt assactly mature. we shoud  get ghaly out for his preformances. the shirt hardly means anything in 2 games time that shirt will be old news, playing on with 4 less teeth (as i mentioned on another thread) does mean something.

You two are idiots

He threw our clubs shirt to the ground, as to say I don't give a sh1t about you. He might aswell of pissed on it aswell.

Even if Berba did it I would still be saying the same thing, no player should disrespect our club like that, no excuses.

It wasn't just the fact he threw his shirt, i dont know if you lot noticed but, he was like whipeing his hands together like he was saying "im done with this club"

im sorry but we don't have the tiem for that type of behaviour

Dont take it so seriously chaps, it was an expression of frustration and the closest thing to hand. I dare say he didnt think of the connection between treating the shirt in that manner and how it would be received.

Jol seems to be handling it well and in the right manner, i.e. not like Freddy Shepherd over Owen. Ghaly will probably get a rollicking, clear the air and move on.

As has been pointed out, Ghaly playing on with teeth knocked out should be considered too before we all pass sentence. I dont go along with the thought he's never had a good game, I think he's a decen squad player with something to contribute and there's no point cutting our noses to spite ourselves.

Oh and nip it in th bud soon, we dont need discontent in the ranks with one game to go.
There be dragons
