He is clearly a decent player and i see no reason why we should not have spent 4.5 million for a fourth choice striker of his quality.  Don't forget he has sat on the bench even longer tham jd and still hasn't complained much.

Exactly, last season he was pretty much our 1st choice striker, with Defoe/Keane partnering him. Now Berbie has come on the scene, Midos been pretty much forgotten :( Which however good Berbie is, it's not right tbh..

He has weight issues that I don't think is his fault, he lost laot of weight and looked very fit when he rejoined us, and then got injured, and I think unless he's training regularly he puts on weight very easily.

I have always been a fan of Mido's but he has been a dissapointment this season. 4.5 may seem steep for him but he put in great performances last year which i feel meritted the price tag.

If he recovers from injury, loses the weight and prepares himself for next season, then he may play a big role in the future.

I thought Mido got 15 last season, not bad for a player in a 40 game season.

This season however its more like ou for `0 than the 5-6 mentioned.

I can see why he wouldnt be happy, he needs a run to get going, but if Jol keeps him sweet and signs are he isnt staying happy, I'd keep him, if not move him on, but not in the Prem. He'd come back and haunt us.

i agree totally, it he's not happy move him on and maybe find somebody younger to come in as 4th striker, maybe a player comin through the ranks.
but please sell him abrorad!!

i still think mido has something to offer but just not at spurs. he is a good player but only if playing week in week out. as for rasiak.... jst not a premiership player.

The best outcome would be to loan him to city and then if he scores plenty of goals or shows us the Mido he once was we could bring him back to WHL
Because i believe in ahmed mido.
