Robben moving to WHL ?!?!

A Bulgarian online sports media got on to the information that Spurs are actually mounting a surprising bid for Robben, who is not having the best of days in Chealsea.

COULD THIS REALLY BE OUR DREAM-COME-TRUE Left WINGER !?!?!?

"Tottenham are ready to match whatever offer comes in for Arjen Robben, up to around 16 million.

CaughtOffside Says: Martin Jol is Dutch, Robben is Dutch. The reasons for the winger to join Spurs pretty much end there."

Great player but dives at every given opportunity. If he cuts that out I'll love him to come to the lane. Doubt it would happen though

Can't see it happening tbh.

Although if he does come it would be a great signing.

No I don't think Robben would come 2 us, im afraid.

If he's gona leave chelsea (might, might not), looks like he would rather go 2 the bundesliga rather than stay in the premiership...
Get Moussa Sissoko In Spurs!!!!

And come on City, break that bloomin' top 4!

Don't think Arjen will go to The Spurs... If he wants to leave Chelsea FC, he'll probably go to FC Barcelona. Or else Bayern Munchen will sign him. That's all I know... Don't give yourselves a great chance for signing him.

I can't see it happening but it would be a good signing, not worth sacrificing Lennon for tho. And yeah he deff needs to cut down his diving, that wouldn't fit in at all at spurs.

he would be a perfect signing to be honest, just what we need on the left wing. someone with pace and who is direct.

but real madrid wanted him last season so i cant see why them sort of big teams wont go for him, unless he wants to stay in England. Even if that is the case Man Utd wanted him when he first came to the prem and they could be interested to

Except Zok

Great player and would be a dream signing, either him or Joey Cole at the Lane would be the signing to get us that step further.

I think Robben would give us the spark in midfield more consistantly. However there are question marks over whether he can stay fit.

As for a diving cheat comments. They are well founded but he can still reform his ways, Ronaldo and Drogba both were marked as Robben is now but have considerably 'dropped' the number of dives this season. If you told Man U fans before they signed Ronaldo, He'll dive alot in the first season but will become Young and Best Player of the year scoring 20 goals Would they still want to sign him?
This comparision of Robben and Ronaldo maybe completely wrong but i think with guidence from Jol and backing from the Fans Robben could be that good.

Joe Cole plays best roaming the pitch but preferably in the centre behind the strikers, he is only deemed good on the left becuase England have no better options.

What price for Robben?

Rumours in Daily mail re Robben approach : “The Daily Mail label Spurs as ambitious and claim we will have to pay a pretty penny for the Dutch International”…might the cost be slightly high, with a possible deal involving Berbatov going the other way? :aaaa red:

That would be an amazing deal but he would cost a lot of money. Perfect signing for us......exactly what we need. He wouldn't go to one of the top 4 clubs in England because Chelsea won't sell him to them as they are competition. He would start every match for us when he can.
