Howdy all,
I seem to have ruffled a few feathers. That wasn’t my intention, but just to warn you that one victory, no matter how great it is or was, is the beginning of the apocalypse (not for us, but the other league teams). As a Spurs supporter, like yourselves, I was delighted with our victory, but my concerns is in the long term, not not short exhilaration. Spurs is in my blood, as I am sure it is in your blood.
I enjoy this forum’s camaraderie and all the different views and opinions. We might not agree with each other, but the prospect of discussing each others views thrills me. It reminds me of the days when I actually went to the ground and talked, shared a pint or two with other like mined people. Unfortunately, and through ill health I am no longer able to travel, but that doesn’t stop be enjoying what I once was able to witness personally.
Burnley tonight, as it was in the double season.
I wish you all enjoyable evening listening to Spurs and I hope that we triumph and then come back on here to discuss what took place.
