We`ve taken too many hammerings from the top clubs for it to be a coincidence .Major work is needed in the summer to put right levy`s interference in the last pre-season .The new manager (lets be realistic) will need to be a strong minded man who knows what he wants and how to get it .

All the top 4 clubs have beaten us (with the exception of Chelsea who we drew against at WHL, but beat us at Stamford Bridge). The clubs under the top 4; Everton and United we've beaten and drawn against. Which tells us that we are a top 5 or 6 club this season. Over £100 million for a 5th or 6th spot; and that is if we are lucky.

Yes, but 100 million on what ? about 20 mills worth top whack. Thats the problem

 :up:
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

Current reslae value based on performances this season, fiver, half a bag of peanuts and a signed 2nd team shirt is about all they are worth!
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

I have not posted for a while now because really this is the worst season by far, the football we play is boring, in terms of world class players we don't have any just a squad of average players for most of this season we have been papering over the cracks, we meet a good team and we get spanked simple as that.

The season for Spurs is over  we will be lucky if we finish top 6  I know this is going to be seen as negative but I really have had enough of the crap we are playing but to be fair I have no idea how or who will move this set of players forward!
But one thing you can bet on is that the seat prices will go up next year!!! :-[

I think finishing in the top 6 might be seen as a positive, not a negative.

How can you think that finishing 6th would be a positive? As far as I concerned it is probably the worse that could happen! What do you think would happen to our key players?

Anything less than inside the top 4 makes this season a failure! and that is that plain and simple.  Europe cup would be a bit of sugar in a litre of pure lemon!

Does anybody really believe that we will get in to the top 4?

I didnt ask or state that I think we will finish in the top 4, the club expectation was to finish in the top 4 and up until a few games ago with luck and improved performances we had a chance now quite frankly we will be lucky to finish in the top 6!

Bottom line this season has been a f**king disaster, I can understand why AVB had to go and I believe the relationship breakdown with Levy contributed to it.  AVB however should have only be sacked once we had a suitable replacement not a stepping stone manager with zero experience!
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

I agree it has been a disaster; there is no doubt about that. But what do we do next and can we do it with Sherwood?

No I have siad a few times on various threads here TS is not the manager/coach for us, he doesnt have any where near enough experience or managerial ability.  I feel the players have very little respect for him and TBH he comes across as he has run out of ideas.

I think in 10 years he will be a cracking manager but right now, he is not and if stays beyond thsi season (which is a right off) could I fear be very damaging for us.

I also believe Levy has a deal in place with someone after world cup!

Whoever they got in mind let us hope they give that person a chance to build their team.
