Though he played ok at lb in the first half... other opinions? COuld his cover for Lee there mean that we give up looking for a Bale type lb and concentrate on left midfield where, as usual, we looked short today. Steed just doesn't want to/can't do it there.

i think he played quite solid there. when he plays centre back he struggles with balls in the air. so full back suits him i think

He's naturally a full back from his days at benfica. He did well today, and while Lee is out I think he'll do a good job for us.

Thought he looked as reliable there than he has a cb anyway.

He's not a bad LB atall, but we have the money to get someone like Taylor and if we want to go places we need a very good player in each position.

Rocha is a good squad player to have, decent backup for CB and LB.

Very good performance at LB from him I thought.

Looked solid and comfotable there. Plus alot less prone to mistakes in my opniion

I thought he played well enough to keep the position for the last few games of this season. But he didn't offer much going forward and there are far better left backs out there. I dont think we should give up the chase for quality left sided players just yet.

Gotta agree partly with the last comment. Although he played pretty solidly at LB, he didn't venture forward at all and that's where we miss YP Lee. However, at least we have cover in that position with the current injuries.

A pretty solid performance from him. We should still be hunting a class left-back e.g. Gareth Bale, Leighton Baines
