I think it's a wise choice for the time being. Sherwood knows the players and they know him. It already seems that his style suits the lads and they seem to be willing to fight for Spurs and him.

Not the choice of the many, but we cant fault his passion so far and cant grumble at his attacking style of play.

Lets all give him our backing, support the manager, support the team and help THFC get some success.

The season is far from over!
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

A big gamble.

Good luck Tim.

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

I am not entirely sure he is the right man imo, but if we win our remaining games this side of Christmas and play good football, then I will change my mind.

I agree it is a gamble, but it would have been a gamble whoever Levy picked. I wish him well and hope he does a good job. He knows his future is on the line. Levy won't accept second best.

Levy is actually saving money by offer the job to Sherwood (£755,000) compared to the standard £3 or £4 million per year.

I am look forward to the next three games (two at home, one away; the home games I shall be going).

I have to say I'm not overwhelmed by this appointment. I wish him all the luck in the world though. Maybe he will bring in some new ideas and get the lads playing some beautiful flowing football. We have the talent individually whether he can get them playing as a team is I suppose the main challenge. I suppose there are examples of people with no managerial experience doing well in the past Kenny Dalgliesh and Pep Guardiola  being the 2 most prominent ones. Maybe Sherwood will be added to that list. Time will tell I guess

I am surprised,  but like others have said his passion and love for the club are obvious.  I hope he has the secret ingredient that we have missed.  It may turn out to be a master stroke,  only time will tell.  He is someone we can all get behind and give a fair chance to succeed.  Good luck Tim.
Maybe next year...

I totally agree with your sentiment I am underwhelmed by Tim's appointment but am fully prepared to give him a good go and back him until the end of this season at least, unless he is absolute and total trash !!!

Tim's biggest weapon could be the fact that he knows the first, second and youth teams inside out. I thought that Bentaleb played very well when he came on in place of Dembele against Southampton and he definatly would not have figured if AVB was still in charge. Only time will tell but I think that Mr. Sherwood might just surprise a few people.

As he is in the hotseat gets my support, not impressed with a few recent media quotes though he certainly doesnt have AVB's class when dealing with the bottom feeders!

Would like to see him now balance out our attacking play with some solid defense, a working progress so looking forward to what the Stoke game will bring.

I also agree that we should support him; to be honest there is nothing much more we can do at the moment.

Have been taking part in some other discussions on various sites and speculation is rife that TS will not be with us after the end of the season in head coach role.

Many believe that either Van De Gaal or the chap from Southampton will be coming in hence no transfers for TS in January nor were any players permitted to be sold.

Interesting speculation and some things to add up to put some fire behind views and thoughts, just wondered if anyone has any thoughts here?

I hope what  you say is just rumour , Tim should be given  his full time to prove himself with his team, l only hope Levy is not going to use him as his scape goat for the summer.
