Why can't we wait?
If we get another manager in we start the process again which means another 2 years of waiting until he has bought and sold players to get the team he wants then another year for them to gel and by then Levy gets bored and fires his ass and we start again !!!!
We lost to Man City but until Rose was sent off (Red card now recinded) we were only 1-0 down, now I'm not saying we would of won the game or even drew but we had a good goal chalked off and scored against them with 10 men !!!
Why can't we just go with Sherwood for the next couple of seasons let him get experience and gel a team together and see what happens, if we bring in someone else we won't win anything for a couple of seasons anyway so what's the difference !!! The players seem to be responding to him and last saturday seems to have been a bit of a blip but at least we didn't lose !!! Think about it we have been cruising under Redknapp, Jol and many other managers over the years and we always seem to get a game that dosen't make sense it happens to every club its part of football.
Be careful for what you wish for because it may come true !!!!

Come on Mr Levy show some balls for once and stick with Tim and let him show us what he can do !!!

 :up:

I tell you why we can't wait!

Whilst I think that most of us are prepared to put our faith in Mr Sherwood, there is a strong chance that he may not be up to the job. I sincerely hope that I am wrong and so far he hasn't ballsed up too much. There is still almost 4 months to the end of the season and I strongly believe that unless he gets us a top 4,  we need an experienced  man and Van Gaal fits the bill a lot more than Sherwood. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want him sacked, but his refusal to strengthen the squad in January has totally baffled me. I too, think we have a good squad, but as I mentioned before, one or 2 additions would have been welcome.  :nods:

I'm baffled too because Sherwood seems to be favoring attacking approach, yet seems to be confident we can finish high with two senior strikers of whom one is unable to score to save his life and the other one tends to go missing when it matters most. Either Sherwood is delusional or Harry Kane has silently progressed to be the next Teddy Sheringham.

Personally I think he is gambling; he knows he has one throw of the dice left and he is going for all or nothing. A top 4 spot or a new manager at the beginning of the season.
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

With Harry there were somewhat different reasons: our poor finish to the season, combined with speculations about England's job and the fact that Chelsea managed to win CL and take our spot.

Yes; but Levy wanted to take this club to the next level and didn't think Harry would be able. I still think if we had stuck with AVB we would have got there in the end.

Voice, there is no point in wondering 'what if'. Redknapp is gone, Villas-Boas is gone. At the moment we have Sherwood and I personally hope he won't be going before the end of the season.

To be honest there is no point of removing him now; whether he doe good or not. What can another manager do in such a short time? Actually you could have used the same argument when removing the previous manager, but as you said, he is now gone. We all want Sherwood to do well and get us a top 4 spot. The Everton match will be a big decider. Also it will help if Ars*nal beat Liverpool. If Liverpool win and Everton win, then sadly I would say it is all over (for a top 4 spot).
