I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

Good start but to be honest I dont care if we ship goals long as we score more than the opposition
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

Seems like Adebayor is not that finished after all.

It certainly seems so.
Funny how he seems to up his game any time a transfer window is about to open.

Well, I don't think he actually wants to leave as Spurs are paying him loads and I doubt there would anyone willing to take his massive wages and baggage. As long as he scores, it's fine by me, to be honest.

I always wondered why AVB didn't play Adebayor and Soldado together - they play well off of each other and as you say, as long as he is scoring for us keep playing him.

We looked much more capable up front today, Ade and Soldado as many have said time and time again I think will make a good partnership

After the West Ham game I felt down (as I am sure most of you did) so I wasn’t too sure about the next game (Southampton v Spurs); however, when I saw the team line up I was pleasantly surprised (a good attacking team with a good midfield). I also was with Sherwood on his substitutions. A good and well deserved win. Nevertheless our biggest test (or Sherwood’s biggest test) will be over the Christmas Holidays. WBA, Stoke and United. Get past them satisfactorily and he could be in contention for the job as manager.

Also I might add that we are scoring goals; strangely enough by the man who AVB wouldn’t give a chance to.

I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I was going to make exactly the same comment; that Adebayor and Soldado are playing off teach other well. Yes, he isn't scoring, but that will come. A partnership in the making?

Yes, I was also pleased with the midfield. It gave me hope.

It might sound over-simplified, but Villas-Boas (partly) got the sack because of Adebayor. By not playing him, to be precise  :lol:

That is true, or at least that is what has been released. At the moment he is doing well.

I also like to add; that if AVB had played him he would have played him as a lone striker and there would be no guarantee that he would have done well. Maybe that is why he never played him. But then saying that Defoe and Soldado were no better under that system either.

Its early days yet but what a difference support to Soldado makes!, him and Adebayor looked good together, Adebayor looks like a new signing and by having two upfront we scored more than one goal and looked dangerous going forward., because Sherwood is picking an attacking line up its put pressure on our opponents, they can not throw to many forward themselves now as there is more attacking pressence around them, should they themselves loose the ball, sure we conceded 2 but as someone said before if we score more than them so be it, as long as were getting the right result the defence can be worked on. Sherwoods idea of bringing in some of the u21 is great aswell this can only bold well for the future. As much as I hate to say it Ars*nal are now reeping the rewards for playing the youngsters for years, they have now matured and progressed skillfully, this is why they are on the up again, we need to recognise this and act  today so we dont fall so far behind again like only a few years ago when we couldnt get near them, Im for Sherwood getting the job lets have a british manager, old school who already has an idea of the good young talent we have and maybe we might just find a Ross Barkley in there.

       Well, well, well, finally we played Soldado and Adebayor together and Low and Behold not only did Ade score 2, (one of which was laid on by Soldado) but every time we attacked we looked dangerous and Soldado could have scored 3 himself, and why, because they worked off of each other, good on Sherwood for having the balls to play 4-4-2 away from home. Am I mistaken or did someone post that if we played 4-4-2 against the Saints that we would get ripped to pieces, well I am happy to say that you were proved WRONG, although I must admit I did have my doubts. I just cannot understand why AVB was so stubborn in his stance of insisting on playing 4-5-1, when it was blatantly apparent that it just wasn't working, and his stubbornness ultimately cost him his job.
       All we need now is to tighten up the defence, and maybe just maybe we will start to reap some rewards. On the downside, I have my doubts about the central defence pairing of Dawson and Chariches and I was disappointed with Lamela, maybe he needs some time to adapt, I know that he hasn't had much PL game time. Benteleb, now there is a lad with a very bright future, he looked like he had been playing regularly in the PL, not making his PL debut.
        Overall I thought we deserved to win and could quite easily have scored 4 or 5. Well played lads. Really good to see. C O Y S.

I hope you are right, but he has only won one match. Let us not get carried away. I hope he does continue on this winning streak with the same formation up front; but only time will tell.
