I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

What a difference we look playing wingers as wingers, plenty of crosses in the box, lots of service to Soldado and he presto he bags a hatrick!, the other most important factor was we moved the ball so much quicker, and attacked with pace at every opputunity, this is how Spurs play there best football so please AVB much more of the same. Great win for the lads well done. :)

I figured they'd win, but this is a most pleasant surprise of a win. 4-1. Hatty for Soldado. I approve.

Anzhi's lucky that they/we also drew one team from a second division and one from a half-arsed league or they'd've been out by now. :P You should see how they're doing in the Premyer Liga right now.

I really hope AVB adopts the same approach to our next EPL game with Soldado and Ade/Defoe upfront with him or Lamela!

Unfortunately I wasn't able to see the game, but from what I am reading it is apparent that AVB changed the game plan and we are now, once again Challenging for the Premiership, I have looked at the Line-up for the game and guess what WE PLAYED a 1-4-5-1 line-up, I don't want to put a damper on everyone's fireworks, but WE WERE ONLY PLAYING A SECOND RATE EUROPEAN SIDE.
Yes it is fantastic that Soldado scored a hat-trick and let me tell you there is no-one more pleased than me, and I hope that this will give him some well deserved confidence, cos I have always said that he is a proven goalscorer, but was he given the service, or was it his undoubted talent against a poor side???

Exactly Mr Finch I am holding judgement until after Sunday and the Scousers before I start to believe that AVB has changed his tactics !!!

Sky sports showed our line up as 4-4-2 oh well either way I have enjoyed the victory and Soldado banging in a triple.

EPl is a different ball game would love to see us do the same there.... we need too!

I agree that we should wait until the Liverpool game. It was a good result and I thought the Russian team played well; came out fighting. But Liverpool will be a different opposition. I also read that AVB might not play Soldado (which would be a mistake).

I was pleased that Soldado got his goals, which should give him confidence. We now need to build on that game.

Even though you are right when you said that we should wait until the Liverpool game I would prefer to wait until after the United game.

I was at the match and I thought it was an excellent game. I actually expected Spurs to have had a weaker team (only playing youngsters); but I was glad that he picked a strong steam.
