January Transfer Window 2014

On many forums already its being discussed, who should we go for in the January Transfer window.

In my opinion we dont need anymore new faces in midfield, would be great to see those who came in during August settle in.

We certainly need a left back or bring BAE back from loan, I dont think we need a striker if Ade and Defoe are staying which just need the right formation and tactics.

So for me the only signing we could do with is a LB.

Shipping out wise:
Gomes (let me get his career back on track)
Falque (just dont think he will ever be good enough, think he is out on loan anyhow)

Christian Cebbelos
Harry Kane (if no plans to play him)

If our stated target of top 4 is to be met than we need the following.
RB LB ( Verthonghen and Ceriches are our best CB partnership ) 2 strikers ( Ade & Defoe to go )

I would let Gomes go and bring in a new LB (we probably won't be able to recall Assou-Ekotto). Metalanimal, Falqué is out on loan and will probably not be sold just yet.

As for Adebayor and Defoe, well I cannot see who would be ready to come in in January, and change our game and results just like that. So, I think we should stick with them until Summer, at least.

Yes a LB would be nice, I don't think we would bring anyone in. Unless we sold somebody to free up some funds.

I been thinking a fair bit and if we resulted to 4-4-2 you know who would be the ideal strike partner for Soldado.... that c*nt Berbatoss.  I thought about this as apparently he wants to bail out of Fulham due to their struggle and league position.

I never wanted to see him grace our shirt again but in light of the problems we have and the fact he wouldnt cost that much I would seriously consider putting my hatred for him behind me in favour of the job he could do for us this season.

I would go with Berbatoss and a LB to sign in January!

        Whilst there is some sense to what Metal says I have to agree with Riff, on the other hand we could use him the way he used us, and then f**k him off!!!!

Trust me guys I hate Berbatoss with a passion and when discussions have been brought up in the past about bringing him back I have always been smack bang against it, he is not worthy to pull on our shirt in my opinion but could do a job for us and make a difference to our season, however we could certainly use him at this point if AVB changes his tactics etc.

Use him the bin him off once we have the job done and a better player lined up.

I would agree with Metal, Berbatov wouldn't be a bad option for a short time would give us a good target man and someone for Soldado to play off !!

Sherwood doesnt feel he has to spend, I wouldnt be surprised to see some players go but if Defoe gets shipped out as expected we need a replacement,
