It seems Newcastle are linked with Aaron in January. How do we feel about that ? I guess its all part of the new regime and squad. To be brutally honest, apart from his blistering pace, which seems diminished of late, and the occasional assist & goal, he doesn't quite do it an a regular basis.

I would be sorry to see Arron leave. He has been a great asset to us over the years and I think he would still have a place if only he made more of an effort. Same goes for Ade and BAE,  as we know.

Lennon has been unlucky with injuries, but I wouldn't want to see him leave. He has been injured for a while now again and I can't see how the Toon could be interested in signing him. It seems now that Bale is gone, media vultures need a new story to anger Spurs supporters with.

Our players will always be linked with one club or another, but I can't see Lennon going.

I wouldnt like to see Lennon leave, he give us an option and regardless is a problem for teams to deal with.

I guess a lot depends on how he sees his future with us or elsewhere TBH
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

Since my original post, Andros Townsend has emerged, and it now seems more unlikely than ever that Lennon will get much of a look in. Townsend is like Lennon was a few years ago, and the fact that he, and not Lennon is now in the England squad, rather sadly spells the beginning of the end for Lennon at Spurs I feel.

I think that all depends on how he takes his chances when offered them. Lennon is still a good player.

I have to disagree voice, it really does depend if Lennon sees his future with us and wishes to stay.

If he does he will be burning to get on the pitch and when the opportunity arises look to show AVB what he is missing, if however Lennons feels he is automatically worthy of a starting place I think he will be off as at this point I cant see him being a first choice starter for an EPL game.

I may be wrong alot depends on AVB and his plans

Look at Townsend. He went from one club to another but he knuckled down and got his chance. I think it depends on how Lennon rates himself and whether he wants to knuckle down and fight for his place. I am hoping he does.

Hang on Voice check you facts re Townsend, he started his career in 2009 and is a product of Spurs Academy.  Despite being loaned to 9 different clubs he has always been a Spurs player, being loaned out strategically by the club to allow him to gain experience, grow as a player and develop into the player we are seeing this season.

He has gone out done his job whilst on loan and developed as the club had hoped, never a hint he wanted out of THFC or that his chances may be limited he was always ear marked to replace Bale when he moved on which we all expected would be this season or next so if he delivered on his talent as expected his future with us looked bright.

Lennon on the other hand is in a much different situation, seasons of never quite becoming the player we had hoped, dire end product most of the time and a few injuries over recent seasons.  With the new additions he may not see his future with us if he wants regular assured first team footi, if that is the case very likely he will go.  If he is happy to take his chances when given and accept he wont start every EPL match and contribute to the squad the best he can he will stay and I for one would be very happy with that!

I think Lennon did okay last night when we consider the fact he's been out for almost 2,5 months. I think he's far from finished and as we're battling in 3-4 competitions, he will definitely get his chance.

Yes, but that doesn't contradict what I said. Yes, I know he is and was a Spurs player, but he still went from one club after another; even though it was on loan.
