Kyle Walker
« on: September 11, 2013, 07:31:55 AM »
As I watched the England team walk out onto the pitch last night, one thing struck me. How nervous Kyle Walker looked. And I wasn't wrong. Right from the off he looked out of his depth, and even had to rely on Gerrard and Cahill to get him out of trouble when he kept on getting caught out of position. I know the rest of them weren't much better, but it really answers all the " foreign player knockers" who have been criticising our policy of bringing in all foreigners. Hopefully, the experience will improve him at club level, otherwise I feel we will be looking for a new RB before too long.

I would think the adverse publicity Walker has recieved this week probably had something to do with his nervousness. He may well have been cleared by the F.A but mud sticks. I doubt he is looking forward to reporting back for training at Spurs as his behaviour has not enhanced the clubs reputation. And I'm sure the press will be on his case as will opposing fans. He's been a silly boy and he has to reap the consequences of his actions albeit that he commited no criminal offence in his position he should have known better.

I think the reaction of the media and then the gullible public highlight what is wrong with society today. It is also very interesting that the photo was taken months ago, yet the press release it the day before England's important qualifier.

So what he had a balloon. If only done occasionally no lasting effects. No performance enhancement. less harmful than cigarettes, alcohol and caffeine. Remember this is the gas they give to women having a baby for heaven's sake!

Everyone should just calm down and become more informed.
Maybe next year...

Sorry, I was posting about his performance, not his recreational habits

What I've seen of Walker so far this season, hasn't been that good. Poor Touch's,lack of judgement.

Oh and you know the press, they blow everything over the top. Leave the young lad alone FFS!

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

Great going forward but big question marks about his defensive ability, ball watches a lot gives free kicks away in the wrong places, people look at his pace rather than his overall game.
But in the England role he will get found out!

He could be converted into RW, I think. Gareth Bale used to be a defender as well and let's be honest, not a very good one.

Walker is constantly caught out of position but relies on his pace to get him out of trouble

Unfortunately it doesn't always get him out of trouble and as a consequence he has to resort to fouling the player, hence the number of free-kicks he gives away in bad positions!!!!

It seems we are now being linked with the French RB Corchia, who is, as always, highly rated !!

I have just read on another thread that he is more likely to go to the Arse. No taste! :nope:

Yeah...but isn't that just bound to happen in a system that relies on the full-backs getting forward and providing width. If possession is lost and the oppos move the ball up the pitch quickly the full-backs just will be out of position. That is why the holding midfielder is so important in this system.
Just a suggestion.
