Our complete midfield now look top class, as good as I've ever witnessed I think. Once they really gel and link up with Soldado then we should be going places. We still need to be aware of the full back situation though, as far stiffer tests than Norwich will be coming.

VDV-esq but even better! Some lovely passing, skill, and exactly what was missing in midfield.   

Younger, a more likeable lad and not as injury-prone (van der Vaart usually lasted less than 70 minutes).

   I disagree Joolz, we have Defoe and Adebayor, I don't understand why AVB insists that Ade trains with the youth team, he is on big money, give the guy a chance, make him earn it, I think AVB needs to swallow his pride and bring him back into the senior squad.

   As for our defence looking good, I thought Naughton looked very suspect today at LB, I thought Walker had a very good game, and then he had another brain fade when he tried to hit a cross field pass to Naughton and it was intercepted and Cardiff almost scored, which I might add was before we scored the winner, could have proved very costly.

You're right. I read we've been linked with some Schalke reject (can't remember the name and can't be arsed to look up either) and I really think Adebayor could be a better solution. Yes, his brother died recently and he's had a bereavement leave, but I think he'll play some part for us. Maybe not in a few weeks, but later this season definitely.

I agree. They just need time to settle in. Our striker would have scored if it wasn't for the brilliant display by the Cardiff goalkeeper.

As for Adebayor training on his own;  I am sure there are good reasons for it. Just because we don't know doesn't mean we should jump to conclusions.

Naughton made that stupid mistake and it was the 4th time that our goalkeeper came close to handling outside his box. But over all I was quite happy with our defence.

For the first time in my living memory, we have the best defensive record in the prem. I'm not so sure it will last though, as I agree about Naughton. We absolutely need good cover at both LB and RB.
