I have never been more excited to be a Spurs supporter.. I hope we do the Ars on Sunday and kick on from there.

I am with you on this.

Judging on yesterdays performance it will take a while for the new players to settle down & gel. Lets hope that Lamela Eriksen and Chiriches do the business as we still look weak in those positions.

Capoue is out for a month(ankle)

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

Glad it's only 1 month, He look in really bad shape coming off the field on a stretcher and gas tank taking. Was really impressed with Capoue until the injury.

Need to bring back Kaboul and Sandro in to the team asap

I don't think it was all bad news against Ars*nal. They could only get a goal against us and we defended quite well. Of course there is still a bit more to do but I feel quite positive. Our next game will be against Norwich.

Deadline day passes with little drama at the lane this year. Feels strange that we didn't frantically try to sign someone on deadline day. Excellent work Baldini and co in getting in our recruits in well before today.

Did see this news in the mirror that we put in a cheeky bid to swap Ade for Torres  , which made laughed a little .

I thought a very good transfer window, though I would have liked another striker, and LB

We still need a Left Back and a Striking partner for Soldado, playing with one striker isn't going to work and we need a playmaker unless Erikson or Lamela are going to fill those roles. Nevertheless a very good transfer window apart from losing Bale but I guess that was inevitable, I have my doubts about BAE going albeit on loan.

Yes full agreement re striker & LB. From the little I have seen of Lamela, together with Eriksens CV then I think the creativity side of things should improve.
BAE for me has only ever been good enough in fits and starts, not consistently, like Ashley Cole for example. As for the striker, we really needed one, as the same thing applies to Defoe & Ade. Looks like we're relying on those two and Rose, until January at least. A bit of a worry, especially as Ars*nal and Liverpool look pretty good for now.

I thought that we could have conceded at least two more goals, had it not been for Lloris, how on earth can we expect Soldado to operate upfront on his own, unless the midfield start supplying him with some quality passes, against the Arse you could count on ONE hand the decent passes he was given. He is a proven quality striker, give him QUALITY crosses and he will convert them, without them he will struggle. Whilst Townsend has undoubtedly improved and deserves his spot, can someone please tell him to pass the ball, he doesn't have to shoot every time he cuts in, he is not in the class of G.Bale, maybe in time he might be half as good, although I doubt it.

Apparently we tried to sign Hulk on loan, but his club wanted a £10 million loan fee. Thats a joke for any player, let alone one with no Premier League experience. We are now stuck with Adebayor who probably wont play a lot and will just pick up his huge pay packet until January at least.

Should the manager use a formation for two strikers, Adebayor could get a look in.

Don't forget we've got the two other strikers in case we need them. You say that a striking partner for Soldado; but AVB uses one up front and if he needs two then he will use Defoe.

I do agree with some of your points, however, we also missed a few goals. I thought a fair result would have been a draw. I took a lot of hope out of that match. On top of that they will grow stronger as a team.

I think AVB will stick with one up front with the possibility of changing  it as the game progresses; as happened against Ars*nal. I also agree that we haven't seen the last of Adebayor.
