AVB to stay
« on: June 19, 2013, 08:04:52 AM »
I read today that AVB has quashed speculation linking him with PSG and committed himself to Spurs. This for me is what Redknapp should have done 18 months ago, and he would probably still be in charge.

Anyway, together with Baldini I think thats great news for us. He has also stated that he expects to be well supported in the transfer market over the next month or so.

Exciting times ahead I feel. Anyone else share my optimism ?

I share your optimism, however, I refuse to believe anything regarding to transfers (incl. coaching staff) unless it's on the official site of THFC.

You wont get news of people staying on the official site. It's a non story to them. You might hear that he has signed a contract extension but to say he has decided to honour his contract is what is expected. Same with Bale he is a Spurs player and if he chooses to remain a Spurs player thats not news. You cant really expect them to respond to every bit of tittle tattle used to fill up a blank corner in the papers anyway as most of it is pure speculation by bored journalists.

It looks promising. I am just waiting to hear that Bale is also definitely staying. That would make my summer!!

I read that it was a close friend of AVB that said he is staying, not from himself.
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

Carlo Ancelotti has taken over as Real Madrid manager, with Laurent Blanc replacing the Italian as coach of Paris St-Germain.

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

Nothing is ever certain but I am confident AVB will be staying, he never had any intention in going IMO.
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

I agree that he will stay now, but I noticed that he kept saying that the chairman promised him that he wouldn't sell Bale. If Bale stays then so will AVB. If Bale goes then that means Levy lied to AVB and he will go.

I think that would be the final straw.

Apart from Zinedane Zidane ( or whatever his f*****g name is ) spouting his big mouth off, so far nobody has actually come out and said that they are going to sign Bale. Bale himself has been extremely quiet about the whole thing. Good news or bad ?
I really hope that in the next week or so we announce the signing of Paulinho, Villa, and Leandro/Benteke which might allow Bale to actually say he is staying.

I've just read today that United now want Bale. But I agree with you.

     Every Club wants Bale, they would be Stupid if they didn't, but there are not that many who could afford to pay the 85+ million pounds that would tempt Levy to part with him, and that includes Man U, not that Levy would be STUPID enough to sell him to another PL club. If he sold him and that is a VERY BIG IF, he would then be in great danger of losing his coach as well, and this is the Coach that he(Levy)  thinks is the man to bring some Glory back to the Lane!!
