So, the BBC compiled a list of how the league table would look without the goals of lead scorers of teams. You can find it HERE.

If you don't think we are a one man team, wait until next season mate when Basle has gone. Along with the idiot we have in charge, I would be surprised if we finish in the top ten.

I don't think we were a one man team and when Bale and Lennon were out we didn't lose.
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

Lennon for me has had a poor season.

I disagree, however, I do agree that the last couple of games he hasn't been fully with it. Not since his injury.

Sorry mate but I do not consider 4 goals for an attacking player a good season. Compared to Lampards 15 ( for the 10th season !! ) and Walcotts 14 his return is pretty poor, and one of the reasons we do not score enough goals.

Back to the old: "We need a player who can bang them in week in week out". Until then, this will go on and on!

You forget the goals he contributed to.

According to the stats, 6.  Walcott's is 10, coupled with 10 more goals, and most of our supporters probably dont even rate Walcott. Its no wonder he is in the England squad and not Lennon.

Why are we basing Lennons contribution value only on goals??? defenders back off him due to his pace he causes the opposition problems and is a constant threat.

Injuries have made this season somewhat disappointing for both him and us but I for me he is first name down on a wing for our starting 11 when fit!
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

Because a winger / attacking midfielder needs to score goals and provide others for the strikers. Lennon, like Defoe, has shone in fits and starts for most of his career, which probably explains why no other clubs have tried to buy them.
