Why is it that when we do well, bang in solid performances, edge closer to our seasons goal that this forum goes quiet???

We had Bale get EPL player of the month and AVB EPL manager of the month (again), we spank Inter 3 nil and have had great results from on he pitch battles in the EPL.

For me so far this season has gone beyond expectations, AVB has done a cracking job, our team which has changed alot from last season has gelled well and although at times our play is poor we have been grinding out vital wins!

I just hope we can keep it going in the last 10 EPL games and we dont fall apart under pressure or get bad luck, call it a new test for AVB and the lads as so far they have all passed the tests proving they got what it takes to put THFC where we want it.

Next up Liverpool, may our form and run continue!

        You are 100% correct, I made a similar comment after the Newcastle game, I think maybe there are several of us, myself included, who don't want to start talking up our chances, because of what has happened in the past, which is understandable. I think everyone who participates on this forum, is quietly extremely happy with the way the lads and AVB have performed so far, but, maybe we are a little fearful that the bubble might burst, I personally don't think that it will, but nonetheless, one can't help being fearful.

It goes quiet because there is nothing much to moan about, and that's why people post on forums.

I personally stopped posting due to the replies I was receiving even when I was admitting AVB was doing a good job and the team was playing well. I still maintain that AVB is doing a good job and has the team playing well, no very well, but I personally don't like AVB... I don't want him sacked or shot or hung drawn and quartered I just don't like him.
But for some they ignore the points you are making and just spout off at you because your honest .... that's why I stopped posting !!!
 
By the way I think we will do well on sunday and fully expect us to win although it will be a tight game probably 2-1 or maybe 3-1 if we are lucky... and once again I will just say I am glad AVB is proving me wrong I thought he would crash and burn but he seems to be doing what is required and as long as my beloved Spurs keep winning then I'm happy !!!

Ugs I am wondering if the reasons you have stated above are why other regulars that have been around a long time have stopped posting also, its a shame if so as all have valid points to make (baldblokes terrier included but rarely baldy himself), opinions often reached via passion and emotion which makes for good discussions or piss taking lol.

Long may we keep winning and this season finish strong AVB, the squad and us loyal supporters deserve it.

Paul I think you sum up perfectly how many of us feel right now, expecting the bubble to burst, I expect it each and every game thats the rollercoaster supporting THFC.

No one can jinx anything. Playing at Anfield is never easy I know and liverpool have won a few lately. I think our present form and will to fight to the final whistle will give us the 3 points. We will play our usual game on Sunday and hopefully the lads will be up for it.

Very true Metal, I guess thats part and parcel of supporting SPURS, I just hope and pray that we keep the foot, or should I say feet, to the floor for the rest of the season and finish top 4 in the PL, thus guaranteeing automatic qualification for CL, and almost certainly ensuring that one G.Bale remains a Spurs player for at least one more year.
