     I think the point that he is making is, when will we start believing that our team(Spurs) will finish 1-2-3 in the PL instead of just falling over the line in 4th, why should we be looking over our shoulder at who will knock us out of 4th, its time that we started to believe that we ARE going to finish 1-2 or 3 and the teams fighting for 4th spot are looking over their shoulders. What do you guys think?

Success breeds confidence, wheras success cannot be achieved without confidence. This is the biggest hurdle to overcome, for us and the team

      You are right success does breed confidence, do you not think that the Team is playing with a new found confidence, I do, they don't seem to fear anyone at the moment, in fact teams that play us seem very  fearful, that might have something to do with a certain Welshman who plays for us, but as I have been telling doubters "WE ARE NOT A ONE MAN TEAM" Bale needs the service of the other members of the squad, the defenders who put everything into the tackles that they make to stop teams from scoring, his fellow midfielders who supply him, and the forwards who help him, and of course the rest of the squad who support him. No we are not a one man team we are twenty plus man team, and that is why "WE WILL SUCCEED"

I share your opinion that we will succed indeed! but was it you who was saying that we were playing like headless chickens a few week ago or am I mistaken?  If so, please accept my apologies and my

        No I don't think I have ever used that turn of phrase. Early in the season I was very critical of our style of play, because I have been used to watching Spurs play an attacking and entertaining brand of football, and now I think we are at least trying to play that way again, I was also very critical of the way we tried to defend a lead with 10 or so mins to go, by that I mean hoofing the ball anywhere, now we play the ball out by passing to our own players and turning defence into attack,( I have always maintained that the best form of defence is attack) and it has worked, we don't panic anymore, and as a consequence we don't seem to be conceding goals late in the game.

I agree with what he said at the end; that we can finish anywhere between 2nd and 4th. I don't think anybody can stop United (apart from Spurs... but we won't be playing them again this season).

We could finish 3rd if we maintain our form, or should I say if Bale maintains his form. Adebyor is pretty useless atm, and went AWOL against Lyon.  Granted, he didn't get much help from the midfield, but he needs a good kick up the Arse.

This week of rest will be welcome for the likes of Defoe, who I am sure keen to make a meaningful return
