Is Jenas Good Enough?

I think he has ability but he needs to toughen up a bit IMO he loses the ball far to easily and his tackling needs to improve if he is to play in the centre of midfield. I like him as a player but his inconsistency drives me nuts.

In the modern game you need quick, mobile players and JJ fits the bill. He scores goals and is a important asset to the team. Watch out next season.

He`s quick,agile,athletic and can pass the ball but he`s not the type of player you can rely on in a scrap.I`m not keen.

I think we've got to keep him, he's only 24 so in theory he should improve and become more consistent and then take his game up a level.

Jenas is so clearly a good player, he scores, covers a lot of ground, distributes well. It seems obvious to me the JJ, Hudd, Zokora are going to be our top three in midfield, and i'm happy to have them. Class. Find me a left side wide player and i'll be happy. Still pisses me off Duff went to Newcastle

He's a good player with lots of stamina and pace,and obviously a good goal return,but he gives the ball away far too often,and I personally would rathe rhave zokora and tainio/hudd in the middle

When Jenas came back from injury people were saying that he is obvious class nad how much we missed him, now a few short weeks later he is the villain again. A bit fickle really.

He didnt have a rubbish game at all. Defo no worse than anyone else.

Just cos what he does might not set the world alight it doesnt mean he doesnt do it well

KOB honestly mate he did. He was absolutely diabolical for the most part of that game.

However he is the only one of our midfield that could pop up and do that. He brings much beeded midfield goals to the team. JJ is a class player but does need to be more consistent

Gonna disagree with you there.

Dont see how he was so bad you could call it "diabolical".

Sure he gave the ball away a few times in the second half but who didn't? We were all atrocious.

Think it was him who was adjudged to have fouled rosicky too, harsh!!!
