I said keep him as he's a good squad player. But we need to buy a top quailty replacement to link midfield to attack imo.

we should keep him but he shouldn't have such a major role in the 1st team. he's had some quality games but he has also had his fair share of howlers especially against the "top four"

IMHO he's got a fantastic engine, non stop up and down the pitch and makes some good late runs into the box hence his goals this season.
He just needs to be more consistent and up his game against the bigger teams.

I say keep him he's great, he can't be that bad to be in the England squad regularly, I bet he'd do a better job for England than Fat Frank!!

JJ is one of my favourite players. I really dislike the fickle Spurs fans that hate Jermaine.

He is a great player to have and would start most games if I was boss. He is  a player that has great pace and can beat players, has a great pass on him and chips in with many important goals.

It was no coincedence that whilst he was out injured we had our blip and did not perform too well. JJ is class

He's been hot and cold all season. Early on in the season he was not really putting in both the effort and the needed skill that he has. Then he was taken off for injury for some time and came back on fire. That was recent enough so it gave him that first team spot. It seems however that he has gone fizzled off again, often i wonder where he is when I'm watching the game because he so rarely gets the ball or when he does, very little comes of it. I say keep him on for next season and keep him in rotation because he can shine as we all have seen.

Yeah, he's too inconsistent. Good backup but we really need a much better central midfielder.

the guys quality, i don't care what anyone else has to say about him cos he does a lot of things that go unnoticed.

Keep him in the team. Its no coincedence that when he got injured earlier this season our form went drastically downhill

He will need to take a long hard look at himself and ask if there is anything more he can to do improve his game over the summer.

He does need improving but hes young, and hopefully Martin Jol can sort him out. He needs to work on his set-pieces so 99% of them are dangerous, like the one that Dawson headed in against Chelsea. His crosses need to improve, although we could start a whole new thread on the crossing / ball in the area situation, and it would be great if he was more confident at taking players on, but then again we have Zokora, Malbranque and Lennon who can do that and if the left winger situation is resolved then maybe we won't need him to do that.

Yes, but he needs to improve his corner and free kick skills. Some have been really terrible this season.

Personally i think hes good enough 2 play 4 us next season, yes he is very inconsistent but hes young, fast and has the technical ability (scored some crackers for newcastle and us) and is good with the ball @ his feet. He also seems 2 balance our team as he is a different type of player... Him and zokora also make the center of our midfield pacey which is incredibly useful as our counter attacks will have men in numbers 4ward and s also it is very moblue. Also iv noticed that he often switches roles - reading game he never went forward and hung back, whereas in the wigan game he went 4ward an awful lot. 2 be honest i think we need 2 get 2 left footes this summer + a striker/keep defoe. I also think we should calm the spending down... So keep him next season, see if he can improve, if he doesnt sell him... I mean our form when he left the tam showed how much we missed him. He also adds composure 2 the side. On the freekick side - dawson header @ chelsea game + set up mido header v Ars*nal! Yes the majority are bad but he can score with them - boro, man u,chelsea... And he almost scored the winner against wigan from a freekick.

like some said before...he is too inconsistent. sometimes he is really playing good, but some actions are sooo stupid. i think he has the potential to become a much better player. we'll see. so, give him 2 more seasons to see what will happen.
if i had balls, they would be bigger than yours ;)
