Team For Next Season

what would be your ideal yet realistic team for next season

mine would be:

gk - robbo

dr - chimbonda
dl - lee
dc- king
dc-dawson

mr-lennon
ml-mg pederson or taylor
mc-zokora (would like to see him in a more advanced role)
mc-tainio (defensive)

st-berbs
st-defoe

dont particularly want us to make many changes as the beginning of this season showed,it takes a while to gel and costs vital points.

think we should sell murphy,mido,gardner

think we should bring back ziegler and routledge for back up and i think we should sign mgp or taylor,young striker happy to rotate (perhaps billy sharp or jermaine easter),and a defender which looks like it maybe curtis davies which would be ok for third choice

I think Keane can play in that position better than Jenas can. If we can't get Saviola then I'll have Keane upfront.

That would b the bollox but u could not have zokora and huddlestone in midfield together, we need to have an attacking midfielder, i would have huddlestone and malbranque in midfield. Van der vaart would b an emense signing jus hope it will happen

Yeah I agree I don't think hudds and Zokora should play in the midfield together, far too defensive. We need someone to link the midfield to attack, Jenas is doing that job atm but he's to inconsistant. So we need a more attack minded player in the centre, then have either Zokora or Hudds in the DM role.

yeah but we have all seen Zoks forwards runs and with that formaition you just his licence to go forward as much as he wants

and the left and right mids thier there to link up the strikers

Yeah but Zokora is more defence minded, and you will never see him in the box ready for a cross. We need a box to box player that can get us goals.

i reckon Zokora can be a box to box player, at the moment where he is the only DMF he cant really go forward because it could be too much of a risk

but with another defence mid i think we will see the best out of him

i see it through out the world cup with all his forward runs and glimpses this season

I think it will be better to get a specialist in that position. In front of goal Zokora doesn't have that composure needed to score a hand full of goals a season. Plus if he plays more in the box we wouldn't see so many of his amazing runs.

I think he's doing a great job in the DM role so why change it. Get in a top AM who knows how to score and create goals.
