Rubbish, know one including myself knows why he was sacked, but here is my theory, and I am rarely wrong about anything.
Just because I'm not right, doesn't mean I'm wrong
As I said in a previous post I was told that he was brought in to sort out our problems and get us out of relegation.
You were told this by who ?. A bloke up the pub, your sisters boyfriend, your dogs best friend. Arry is known world wide as one of the best managers. Players love him and want to play for him, and he was the publics' and the media's number one choice for England manager. You may not like him because he may be a bit dodgy, and that's your choice. I judge a manager on his results, and don't give a toss if he eats children.
no other football club – came in for him.
Could it be there were no vacancies ?
He was sacked, as I had previously said, because he couldn’t take Spurs to another level. How did Spurs manage 4th spot? Luck. Chelsea faltered, so did Liverpool and City wasn’t there yet. I can’t prove it but my analysing of the situation draws that conclusion; an educated conclusion.
Ridiculous statement. We didn't finish 4th once, we finished fourth twice, and we also finished 5th once the same year as we got to the quarter finals of the CL. No manager is that lucky. No, Arry couldn't take us to the next level, and no manager could without Levy actually spending some money. I believe this is exactly what Arry told Levy and that's why he was sacked. Our performances under Arry were beautiful, and our results were the best for many many years, and you still didn't like him. That is your choice, but I find it very hard to figure out. In stead you prefer to watch the dross we now play. I could understand this if our results were as good as Arry's, but there not !!
