What do you think of the Spurs shop?
« on: December 04, 2012, 08:46:25 PM »
The last couple of times I went I spent a fortune. But I am surprised that they don't have a bigger book section. There are many books available on Amazon that is about Spurs but they don't sell them in their shops.

The clothes range is very good.

While I was there last time I spoke to the Spurs shop manager and asked him why they don't have named mugs for women. They've got a pretty good selection for men/ boys but not for girls/ women. He agreed that they had quite a few female members and they should have more and would look into it.

I also thought the jewellery section was very small. I bought two rings but didn't have much of a choice. They were also limited in ring sizes as well.

What are your thoughts on the Spurs merchandise/ shop?
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

2 questions

1) Why do you want to waist money on over priced crap. I have small badge I wear on my jacket, and a tattoo on my upper arm, that will last for ever and never cost me any more money. Football shirts are great for kids, but look sad on anyone over about 14, (especially the ones with players names on the back)

2) Men should be spending more time discouraging women from going to football matches, so why would you want mugs with birds names on. If a bird is at football, there is bound to be something at home she neglects to clean.

At last something we agree on!!!!

However, you did decide to go on, to being an sexist ignorant pig, so it didn't last for long.  ;)
Maybe next year...

I do have Spurs shirts but not with my name on them. I also bought my Spurs shirts in sales at Spurs (apart from one shirt).
I don’t consider it a waste of money. I can afford it and I get pleasure of buying spurs goods. As for badges; don’t ask.

Spurs and men should be encouraging women to go. The more women and children the better. Better for the future of Spurs as well.
I wanted to give a mug to my girlfriend with her name on it; she is not, however, a football supporter.

Why? Would you like me to be one? Or are you asking to make sure that I am a man so that you can ask me out? Have you got homosexual desires for me? Have you been in the Navy (all rum, coke and sodomy)? Or is there some other reason you want to know? I don’t know if it is beneficial to you but my profile actually gives a clue and so does this reply :up:

You just say a lot of gilry things, that's all. Most birds know very little about football, and tend to speak from the heart rather than the head, and that theory pretty much matches your posts. With regards to my sexuality, I am like the baby eating bishop of Bath & Wells (Black Adder) I will do anything to anything  :lol:

I think that tells you more about the women/ girls you hang around with. I know a lot of women who know a lot about football. Saying that there are a lot of men who know nothing about football.
I speak from the head, but I accept that you read it a different way; but that tells me more about your thought process and how you interpret things.

I'm not saying there aren't ANY birds that know about football, but most that do are Lesbians. I also agree there  are blokes that know nothing about football, but my theory is that blokes that don't like any sport are gay.

Going by what you've written here and other places you seem to have issues with gays and women. You usually find when that happens it is the person who makes such remarks that is struggling with their own sexuality. Don't let it get to you; come out, come out wherever you are... we are living in a different world today. Nobody will mind. Just make sure you go into the correct toilets otherwise it could be embarrassing for you. :up:

If you are not fussy what about Dick Whittington and of course his famous cat? There are a lot of famous Dicks out there…. Or are you talking about something more solid and erect?
