Food at White Hart Lane.
« on: December 04, 2012, 08:33:10 PM »
I know it is very expensive to buy food in White Hart Lane but what annoys me is that when the half time whistle is blown there is such a queue that unless you can be first (and you can only achieve this by missing about 10 minutes of the last 45 minutes) then you haven't got a chance. It is obvious that Spurs make a fortune selling food so why don't they put more food sellers on? They've got the space.
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

The club lease out the property to caterers, so don't directly make money from the sale of food. However I would imagin the plots cost an absolute fortune. I am a vegi, so the choice I have is limited, expensive and disgusting. The beer is horribly expensive and warm. My tip is to eat and drink before you enter the ground.

I knew they were catered out. It is very expensive, but there are plenty of shops nearby were you can buy decent food. Up the road there is a very good Turkish shop that does excellent food and cheap. I visit it every home game.

There is a chippy opposite the Pride of Tottenham pub (previously the pleasure rooms) that is as good chippy you will find anywhere.

Is that going towards Seven Sisters from the ground?

Best place by far to get good food at good prices on a match day is the Chick King on the High Road near the junction with Paxton Road.

From the ground going towards seven sisters it is on your right, opposite nearly said pub. Technically in Bruce Grove
