Glenn Hoddle
Or maybe David Pleat? Or while we're at it, I'm sure Christian Gross would want another chance.

And what would be the point? Pardew is below us and we have the same amount of points as Moyes. As for Hoddle; I suppose you are expecting him to bring God with him to give him that extra bit of support?

Think we are much better off sticking with AVB, any manager will take time to settle in and get to know his squad.   I believe in a couple of seasons we will be champs league regulars and title contenders, if it all goes wrong and AVB flops and gets sacked at the end of this season, will it stop me supporting my team or the next manager..... course not!!

Right now AVB is in the hot seat and doing okay it could be alot lot worse or form could be like the latter part of last season which would see us in the bottom 3 right now but no we are 6th, with certain players returning soon (i hope) and couple of signings in Jan we should stabilise nicely in the top 4 this season.
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

Good intelligent post. However, I must say that your post will upset those that want Spurs relegated, AVB sacked and Ars*nal win the league.

Yeah 6 poor weeks which effectively ensured we didnt qualify for the champions league, lost modders became a less attractive offering to players that we could afford to strengthen, risked loosing Bale.  Those 6 weeks that if it wasnt for him thinking he had the England job and that THFC can f**k themselves cos he'll be ok we would have finished 3rd for the first time in the EPL and ensured CL footi, so again making progress.

I also remember Arry for continually playing Crouch and Defoe when they couldnt hit a barn door, for trying to bring the Beckham circus to WHL, for refusing a new contract when he thought he would get the England job but then knocking on levy's door on his knees when he didnt, after the damage was done and we all know what happened next.  Taxi for Arry!!

I also remember the good he done but it was time he went he has only himself to blame, and its not like the mercenary has been snapped up by a top club is it!

It may have escaped you, that there haven't been any prem jobs for him take, let alone in the south of the country, where he lives.

Yes, we had 6 bad weeks, partially because of Arry and mostly because of the players feeling unstable. Players read newspapers and no one can stop that. You forget, if it weren't for Arry we wouldn't have been in a position to lose the third spot in the first place, and nobody could ever of guessed Chelsea could win the CL. If there was a better manager out there that we could have got, your argument may have had some substance, however our leader, Mr Tight Arse Levy, decided to employ probably the worse manager the prem has ever seen, and recent results are proving that. If you really think this idiot is going to turn things around, watch this space, because I will be reminding you of his incompetence on a regular basis !!

AVB is far from the worst manager the prem has seen, come on start using your brain man, plenty more below him in the league at the moment does that make them the worst football has ever seen, what a load of bollox!

On the subject of the worst manager the prem has ever seen for me its Ramos for his 2 points in 8 league games but for sticking around and being utter shyte the award goes to Mark Hughes!!

I think AVB considering his age and experience in life let along footi is doing bloody amazing and given the backing and support he could really put THFC on the footballing map for a long time regarding desired achievements.

THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

That may be true; but I would rather give him until the end of the season before making my judgement. Unless we are fighting relegation. Booing him and the team isn’t going to solve anything. Whatever you think it is Levy’s call and he won’t be making that judgement anytime soon. So let us back him and show our support to the club we’ve supported all our lives.

I won’t argue with that.

Although he been found to be a cheating SOB the message of the quote remains applicable !!!

Anyway I'm waiting for AVB to say something thats profound to replace it with, but I'm not holding my breath !!!!

Pep Guardiola's agent has opened the door for a summer move to a Premier League club!
