Whatever the regular moaners on this forum think, AVB should and will rightly be give the time he needs. I have faith in him until proven otherwise!

My sentiments as well.
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

Have you ever heard of the expression "Be careful what you wish for, it might come true". In other words we might end up doing a lot worse.

Under Levy he has turned the club around from our bad days. I also think he wants success at Spurs; unfortunately he hasn't picked the right manager to do that; so far. But he isn't the only one who has had this problem. We've got the structure and financial ability to achieve great things. All we need is the right manager; is that AVB? I don't know, but I hope so. Whatever we think he should be given the chance.

This is the same bloke who repeatedly makes money out of the transfer window in order he can please the shareholders. The same man who has more than doubled the price of my season ticket, and the same man who attempted to move us to East London. With exception to the Arry days, we have not moved any further forward than when he joined us. I should also mention he is the same man who employed Santini and Ramos. The only positive thing I can think of that he did was to employ Arry, and then he sacked of course. He doesn't give a flying s**t about Spurs, as long as he lines the silk pockets of his Armani suit with mounds of dosh !!

Please point out using your undoubted higher intellect and almost faultless logic, where in any of my posts I wished for the Woolwich Wanderers to win the League !!
You are one of those doom mongers that are only happy if you are moaning. It makes you wonder if you are not a secret Arse fan.

Or are you indeed spending too much time reading your brand of s**te that has suddenly appeared all over this forum !!!
Obviously you have nothing better to do than reading my brand of s**te; as you call it. Maybe there is hope for you yet!

Quote
Please do not accuse me of being a Woolwich Wanderers fan in any way, shape or form as I find this to be highly offensive and extremely distasteful.
Well, maybe you should stop moaning and give AVB a chance. Those that usually moan are Ars*nal supporters so I drew my conclusion from that. Or are you just pissing in the wind?

As far as I'm concerned AVB is a waste of space and we are going backwards, regardless of any injuries, bad luck or any other kind of defence you can think of for his poor performance as a manager. If you are a big Spurs fan as you claim and have watched them for the years you claim you will understand that we play football that is exciting and entertaining which is more suited to cup competitions than a sustained League campaign, under AVB this is dying and we are not improving ... simple!!!!
Actually you make a good point here; the way we’ve played for years. And over those years what have we won? I don’t want Spurs to be nearly hopers but winners. Styles are ok if we have something to show for it; we don’t and haven’t had since Berkinshaw and before that Nicholson. Even Harry won us bugger all. Whatever style or not AVB has or hasn’t got he will be judged in how he ends the season and what trophies he’s captured. If you want style then go to Savile Row.

You could be right; he might be a waste of space. And if he is I’ll be shouting along with you, however, in the mean time I am prepared to give him the benefit of doubt. He’s not going anywhere so let us support him and Spurs. If you can’t do that then I do question your loyalty and whether you do have hidden loyalities!!!

I know what I like and what AVB is playing is not it .... period !!!!

Read above.

Once again you mock my post and accuse me of being a f**king Ars*nal fan .... which I am not never have been and never will be.
I'm not even going to argue with you over the points you have made or even justify my loyal support for the club I support all I will say is I know what I like to see and I am not seeing it on the pitch at WHL now.

I do not like AVB's methods or tactics and no amount of your sarcastic demeaning opinions will change that and as far as I can remember it is my right to able to voice them how and when I like......

I support THFC and the players  but I choose not to support AVB..... I hope things work out well and we win trophies and finish top of the League but so far AVB has done nothing to make me think under his guidance this is going to happen !!!!!!!

I disagree; I think he does care about Spurs. Because he has got it wrong on occasions doesn't mean he doesn't care. We can look right across the football spectrum and see other clubs making bad mistakes. As for the spending; we've been one of the top spenders.

Talking about Harry;  who employed him?

Your right UGS. Unfortunately there is a small element of our support that believe that you have to continually be positive about every move the club makes. So far the football under AVB has been dreadful, and the only reason we are 5th is because of an awful lot of luck. In a few weeks we will be sitting mid table, which unfortunately will be a more accurate reflection of our performances. There are those people that have convinced themselves, for reasons I can't understand, that AVB is our future. I, like you, hope I am wrong in my assumption that AVB is a footballing moron,  but nothing up to now has changed my mind !!

We made a net gain of £10m in the last transfer window. Under Arry's rain we spent an average of £10m a year.  which in prem terms is peanuts. So please tell me what makes you think we are big spenders ?

Well stop doing what Ars*nal supporters do; moan. Back spurs instead of mocking. Give AVB a chance and back him. If you want to moan then do it at the end of the season or if we are fighting relegation, not when we are in a healthy position. To me you don’t sound like a supporting Spurs supporter. Just somebody who is hoping that Spurs fail – because you don’t like AVB – and that Spurs get relegated to prove your point.

It seems what you like to see if Spurs fail so that you can tell everybody you are right.

There is nothing wrong with being critical; but there is a difference between critical and downright hostile towards a manager who is in a healthy position.
I never said he was our future just that we’ve got to give him a chance. Maybe he will fail; but now is not the time to hostile but to back our team.

Last transfer window. Was that the only transfer window?

That spending got us 4th. We don't have the facilities as United, City or Chelsea have.

No we did not! Do you ever actually read anyone's posts?

Actually we did not. We 'spent' 59.7 million (because when you pay out money you spend it) and we sold players to the worth of 59.2 million. The difference between is net profit or loss if you like. So we actually have a net loss of 0.5 million which is actually sensible financing of the club. (actual player choices is not necessarily sensible, i.e. lack of striker)

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/tottenham-hotspur/transfers/verein_148.html

So please can you stop telling us how we made a net profit of 10 million pounds. It did not happen, it does not exist, it just a preconceived fancy that you have grabbed hold of from somewhere maybe even your own mind. I want evidence!
