Seen the AVB press conference today. God its nice to have a Manager that goes about them in a professional way. Note how he responds when asked about Willian. No 'aw he's a triffic player and we hope to sort sumin out' he was respectful to the players club. Back to the matters at hand. The Hudd move really makes sense. As AVB has said he needs to get match sharp and the best way to do that is play week in week out, something that he is not guaranteed to do at Spurs. AVB had said that he thinks Hudd can play a key part in our future. As for Daws, I really am going to be sad to see the fella go. Always gave 110% for the club and did so with a smile on his face. QPR have got themselves a real quality player on their hands. Having said that it's well documented that AVB lieks to play a high defensive line with quick players, and for the best one in the world Daws aint the fastest. 9 million for a 28 year old is extremely good business and we still have 4 CBs to fight it out for the 2 places. Despite what he has said I firmly believe we'll sign another striker before the window shuts. If we can get Willian and Moutinho in as well, then CL here we come!!!!

How does he expect to cope the whole season with four CBs?! We all know what it's like with Spurs and injuries. Kaboul already injured his knee and will miss the match vs WBA. Yes, we could use another striker, but that doesn't mean we have to sell our defenders.

Levy is systematically dismantling the squad that managed to qualify for the champions League twice (albeit the second one was denied us by a cruel twist of fate), and AVB hasn't got the balls to stand up to him because he is his lap dog puppet.
I can't believe that people on here are still backing AVB and saying he's a professional, he a professional con man doing an impression of a two bob football coach.
We are nose diving into a f**king great black hole and no matter if we sign 5 bloody players it won't make the slightest bit of difference because they will have to gel and then adjust and by then it will be Christmas and we will be languishing in 8th or 9th place with no prospect of anything!!!
To me progress is an improvement and the football we played against Newcastle wasn't an improvement on last year and as far as I can see we have once again conceded the first couple of games of the season. The squad isn't ready we are still buying and selling, Modric is being made to train on his own players are being sanctioned to be sold by AVB left right and centre(even players who he talked about being important i.e. Dawson who was captain and now Van der Vaart) and we don't seem to be bringing anyone in !!!!
This is a bloody big mess and anyone that thinks AVB is some kind of professional football genius needs to sectioned, we are in the s**t people and the level is rising at an alarming rate!!!

Levy and AVB are destroying my club and theres nothing I can do about it...... but hell we are going to have a lovely bank balance, it wouldn't surprise me if we got relegated just so we could get the parachute payments to make the balance sheet look better !!!!!!!!!!!!

HR is gone and understandably so! he was going to drop us like hot s**t if England came calling as he thought they would!  So its no surprise that after Levy tried to tie him to a long term contract prior to FC departing and hHR refused thinking the England hot seat was a dead cert for him he got the good old f**k off son!

Remember its down to this largely that we lost 3rd spot in such a :tossa:s fashion!

HR was no f**king messiah, yes he did well for us but he wasnt going to be able to take us to the next level, move on the club has and most supporters!

I have to admit I am getting a bit uneasy about the standard of players being sold or loaned and the others who are rumoured, perhaps there are a few key signings in the wings...... actually no I bloody hope there are!

Perhaps there are not and perhaps now that Levy has a lap dog in charge he can play football manager to his hearts content !!!

Funny compared to the s**t we have had in the last few years and especially what we have now I think you might just change your opinion of 'Arry and might just realise now it's too late that he was a messiah of sorts !!!

It's not as if new managers at other clubs don't come in and shake things up a bit. Look at Lambert at Villa and Rodgers at Liverpool. Look at what Pardew (or Ashley I should say) did to Newcastle over the past few seasons. Sacking the manager that got them promoted and then selling Carroll and Nolan. Pardew was an unpopular appointment and fans were in an uproar about selling off their best players. Now look at them!

I cannot for the life of me understand why we would let Dawson go, but we're only one game into the season so far. Let's not despair just yet.

YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same old bloody points of view being repeated again and again, about the same old topics. To be completely honest, since the Olympics, watching real athletes working their socks off, trying their hardest and not throwing their dummy out if it does not go their way. I have not anticipated this season like I have others. International football is even worse.

I will always be a spurs supporter and even if we were relegated to division 2 I would still support them. What I would like to see is the club being an example of high morals, good attitude, excellent work ethic. Passion. Respect for supporters and fans of all football teams. Dignity in defeat and success, and most of all to try and be the best it can be. As supporters we have the right to remove that support. If things are bothering you about Spurs then do something about it. Stop whinging like a bunch of footballers and actually stand up for what you believe. Don't just give off negativity and tell others that they are wrong for believing, for hoping for a better outcome. Do something practical that actually means something. Hell, if there are enough of you, removing that support may make the difference. Whereas, bitching about it on forums does nothing, nada, zilch, zero!

You will always be a fan, but you do not have to endorse the club financially. If you are not prepared to take that affirmative action please don't bother telling me about how bad things are, if you are not bothered enough to back it up.
Maybe next year...

Look mate, only time will tell. I know for certain that AVB will be out before the end of the season, and it wouldn't surprise me if he goes before Christmas. Unfortunately Levy is almost bullet proof. Oh, and the answer to your questions is Harry Redknapp !!

Do you have this from Dan Levy? Or AVB?
Levy is not amlost bullet proof in my eyes, and I will criticise him when he feels he deserves it, and have done so when no-one else was.
Ah, I see you are one of those who ascribes to the mythos that Harry Redknapp took over Accrington Stanley reserves and won the World Cup with them. He didn't - he inherited a very exciting young group of players that needed filling out - and, in fairness to him, he filled them out brilliantly. Perhaps it has escaped your attention that Martin Jol finished 5th twice and only one of them was due to us being nobbled.

You haven't answered the question at all.

Funny how people like to remember the fat dutch cnunt  for what spurs did achieve, rather then his desperate attempt to get us relegated. On the other hand, so many hate HR despite his significantly better record.

Anyway, I am sure you are delighted with the one point AVB has got out of the first two games, and will back him going forward. I won't !!

Bassong to Norwich confirmed. Anyone coming in though?

I'll answer my own question. Adebayor is back.

A truly dreadful striker if I have seen one. I would of thought that his performances last year would have deterred Spurs from signing him. Unfortunately it would seem that our beloved chairman is also now our chief scout.

Who just happened to be our top goalscorer last season ??
