Ledley King retires

In my opinion second only to rthe great mike england in the best centre half list .I do wonder though , if he`d stay fit would we have been able to keep him ?   One of the true spurs legends and he will be sorely missed .

When I was office based in Kent in early 90's, I was away from the office one afternoon, fella came in selling the usual run of s**te books....apparently Big Mike...

Back then footballers had to get a real job. As most footballers have/had no education whatsoever, many of them got s**te jobs. Prima donnas of today will never feel that.

Everything was said about Ledley in above posts. I'd like to add something. I have pleasure to know  some people,who met him personally and no one ever said a bad word about King. That's achivement. Good luck Ledley.
