The facts are that harry had been talking himself up as the new england manager for the last 18 months or so .In february this year spurs wanted him to sign a new contract but he wouldn`t because capello had just walked and harry wanted his job .Then , in march chelsea sacked AVB and harry refused to rule out taking that job .When it didn`t pan out as he planned he wanted to sign a new contract . Harry showed us no loyalty what so ever .That`s why levy sacked him . I personally think AVB  will do well for us and he`s showing some big cajones by even wanting to manage in england again .If it goes tits up he`ll be sacked and we`ll get someone else just like Ars*nal would have sacked the unknown and inexperienced arsene wenger if he hadn`t worked out .

What the hell are you talking about. Arry did not talk himself up as manager at all, that was the press. Arry on one occasion said "any English manager would be proud to manage his country, and I am no different". I would expect that any manager would love to manage the country of his birth, and frankly I believe it would be disgusting for any manager to turn down such an opportunity. You don't here WBA slagging of Hodgeson, do you ?

AVB isn't like Rogers. Rogers is a good man manager and given time will get the understanding and respect of his players. Whether or not he will get enough time is another matter. AVB is a young manager who had the opportunity to manage the decent club side in a pub league. He the went on to win a European pub cup which most big clubs have no interest in. He is 100% Ramos reborn, but unfortunately our d**k of a chairman is to damn stupid to see it. AVB's only real experience at this level was at Chelsea, and look at what happened.
He will be sacked at some point this season. Our finish position will be based on his departure and who replaces him. Finding a puppet like AVB that will sit comfortably on Levy's lap won't be that easy though. If the club is to move on, we must get rid of LEVY

Team looked good yesterday, tactics spot on, players right up for it an dour first win at old trafford since 1989!

Bu yeah really AVB out now as we have been beaten what once in all campaigns so far this season, yeah terrible we are in turmoil and it shows, lets get rid of AVB today......... FFS what a f**king joke, any new manager needs time regardless of the squad inherrited, plus some of our key players were sold off!

So far I think we are doing more than okay considering its a new look team, we lie fifth in the table and beaten only once so far!  AVB and the lads keep it up, lets get more wins under our belts COYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

I for one always said we should get behind him and give him a go. I think it very unfair that anyone should start a campaign to get him out before he has had at least a reasonable period of time to work with the players.

AVB out by Christmas.

I am now starting to believe that the Government will stop all tax tomorrow and I am now looking forward to eternal life. Because one of these 'certainties' is definitely NOT going to happen, so therefore maybe the whole of reality has shifted.

Either that or Baldbloke has got it wrong again and may have to stop spouting his opinions as facts. However, that is one certainty that won't stop. LOL.
Maybe next year...

Somewhat bemused here.
Maybe its that Sunday feeling after too many sherbets
following our win yesterday evening.

But I ask myself who started this post in July named it "AVB out
campaign to start NOW" before a ball had been
kicked and now claims "I for one always said we should get behind him and
give him a go".

I cannot believe I have just read this. Talk about U -turn!!

I think I should come around to the AVB Out campaign. I mean. winning at OT by a miserable 3 goals and leaking 2 is unforgivable! We should have at least put 6 away and kept a clean sheet!  Isn't that what Harry hasd been doing?

I just wonder who the genuine fans and the true lovers of this club are!

Firstly I cannot believe that anyone would want to get AVB sacked before he has even played his first game !!

I agree with the comments that it wasn't all rosy under Harry, and there really must have been a big reason behind his sacking. Can anyone convince me that Levy dosen't want exactly the same for Spurs as we do ? In other words results achieved with style ? Well Harry certainly achieved style, but where were the results ? We hardly ever beat a top 4 side, unless you include a below par Ars*nal. 7 goals conceded against City, 6 against Utd, 5 against Ars*nal in one game, 5 against Chelsea in the semi. Quite frankly that is a joke, and somebody has to accept responsibility for that, and the overall collapse of our side.

We need to re-evaluate those players responsible for the problems. Defoe, for missing too many chances to win games. King for being unable to stay fit enough at this level, and causing us to lose to City, thus starting our collapse. Harry continually playing people such as Bale, VDV, and sometimes Modric out of position. And ultimately Levy / Harry for failing to address the shortages in January when everybody knew we needed a striker and CB.

Who we bring in over the next month, and how the team perform next season, will answer whether Levy has learnt anything, and whether AVB is the right man.

Either way, now is not the time to act in the ridiculous way that some people are.

I went back and re-read my first post on this matter. I am glad to say that I haven't changed my mind on any of my points. Its time that the AVB knockers were man enough that there is a chance they were wrong.

For those of you fools that don't understand the difficult situation I am in, I shall now spell it out.

I have a very poorly behaved Jack Russell, that at any opportunity will get on my computer and start a thread or post something quite controversial when I am not around.  Whilst I don't begrudge the money it cost me to take her to Dog training classes, I wish I had not taken her to I.T classes.

If anyone has the same problem with their dog, I would very much like some advise.

CHEERS.
