Once again we were playing against 12 men. Do you think when the ref is making love to his wife/boyfriend and he or she says are you in yet his reply is always YES.... stevie wonder even said it wasn't..Do you know why the CHELSEA  call themselfs the head hunters?its because they love sucking c**k

Yes all true, but don't let that mask our abysmal second half performance.

Some great arguments here. Bound to be an intelligent discussion.  ::)

The refs mistake (?) was obvious and, for sure, influenced the game, but there is more reasons we have lost this and previous games. And, reluctantly, I have to say bad Redknapps decision before and during the match were importent as well. I am a big admirer of Harry and usualy blame players not him but... Linig up  King and Gallas was not a good idea. Both stragling with injuries most of the season, both very slow. It can't be in other way, when you don't train. Look at their manoueuvrability. Adding to this chaotic Walker and out of form AE we have not promissing picture at all. Different thing is Modric. The little greedy f.. don't want to play for us and not hiding it on the pitch. He's been fake since weeks and why Harry can't see that is his secret. Get rid of him and buy Kagawa from Dortmund, ie. I feel sorry for Parker, Sandro. They have to work like a dogs, watching this guy walking and yawning. Ade won't stay for next season, so there is no point to talk about him. Defoe is, like I said in other place, not the one making difference. We have to look for striker. Lewandowski from Borussia. 20 goals and over 10 assist so far for Bundesliga champion is impressive.
I'm maybe a little bitter this days but we almost screw up everything we could.
And one more thing. EL was not good enough for Harry and the players.?Please.

It is very simple to slate 'Arry and his team selection etc etc etc .... I thought that apert from the selection of Cudicini (strangely) we played our strongest 11 and Lennon and Bale played wide as we all have begged for over the last couple of weeks. The first half saw us have the ball cleared of the line and also hit the post and create several decent chances, but you have to agree that Drogba's goal was a touch of genius that on balance gave them a slightly undeserved halftime lead.

The second half started with Chelski looking to increase their advantage and us not really at the party to start with..... then the fool Atkinson awarded a goal that in any circumstances was clearly not a goal. Just to compound it the linesman couldn't see and the Chelski players celebrated so hard that to all intense and purposes the referee thought he had got it right !!!

Then we got some balls and decided that we wasn't going to take this shafting lying down and promptly started top play again and with some direct but extremely good football we equalised but once again the fool Atkinson decided not to award a penalty and send off Cech which would of been to our advantage. Cech blatanly made no attempt to play the ball but tried to take out Adebayor who just before being clattered played in Bale who slotted home, Goal but no advantage to us and utimately this is what cost us because we then tried to push for the equaliser and Chelski picked us off and as the goals went in our heads dropped and our season died.

In my opinion if the second goal hadn't been given incorrectly we would of still lost but it would of been alot closer and alot more dramatic, and utimately highlighted our poor end of season form.

This season the ref's have really had it in for us remember stoke disallowed goal, handball..... Man Citeh Balotelli staying on the pitch after stamping on Parkers head..... Stevenage disallowed goal because Parker touched the ball when he was in the goal..... disallowed goal against Everton etc etc etc......

Basically we will now be lucky to finish 6th and in the summer I expect the likes of Bale, Modric, Van der Vaart, Adebayor, Walker and Sandro we all leave the club.

I'm far from slating Harry. As said before I admire him, but recently he lost himself a bit. Can't understand taking off VDV instead of useless Modric. Something wrong is going on in this team.

UGS you have summed up the game as I saw it.

A couple of outrageous decisions from Atkinson turned the game around.
One apiece early in the second half could have been a different story
completely and then unlikely for Defoe to later on replace VDV as we would not
have been goals down and chasing  to get even again.
Playing 2 up front weakened our midfield and with our  qualities in defense it was all too easy,
worse still it could have been more than 5.

However end of the day cannot turn the clock back and Cheatski are in the final.
