We're at a very crucial position now. Should 'Arry go then Levys decision is crucial as we really need someone who can help the club push on and really challenge for the title. I think then man we need is Mourinho. Getting him would show that we really mean business. rom the sounds of it he is looking for a challenge, and he is looking for a club where he can really settle down and create a legacy to truely beat Fergie as a manger. I think Levy would be willing to break bank to get Mourinho, and to back him as well. Failing this though, it has to be Moyes. He's a similar manager to Redknapp in that he knows the Premier League inside out and the transition from Redknapp to him would be smooth as.

The chosen one is on £12m a year and would want in the region of £100m to spend on the squad. Citeh will not win the prem and Mancini will get the boot. Then guess what ??????

Moyes is a decent bet, but I don't think he is good enough or a big enough name to entice the players we need.

I don't think Hughton is experienced enough for this job. I mean, should Redknapp leave, he'll leave awfully big shoes behind. I like Hughton, though, and I'd like to see him take the job at some point.

Why not now ..... he did an excellent job at Newcastle under very difficult circumstances getting the best out of a squad that had been relegated and turned them around and got them promoted at the first attempt. Now at Birmingham has again taken a squad that was relegated and is in the process of turning them round and again looks like he may well get them promoted again at the first attempt !!!

He seems to be able to take a group of players and get the most out of them, his transfer dealings have been pretty cute too and he has a pretty good media personality...... sound like anyone else ?

He is Spurs through and through and I think he would be a very good manager for us, why wait lets take him now before any of the other big clubs realise how good he is !!!!

I dont see the likes of Modric, Bale or Van de Vaart being excited by the arrival of Houghton. True he has done a decent job with Brum and the Toon but he is not the man we need to take us to the next level. We need sombody to inspire the players we have and to make top players want to come and play for us. A guy with top credentials for winning stuff a Hiddink or an Ancelloti somebody in that mould. Mourinho is probably out of our price range but if we can qualify for the CL we will be an attractive proposition to the top managers. It will really come down to how much Levy is prepared to spend. One guy I wouldn't mind as a dark horse though is Marcelo Bielsa from Bilbao he has got them playing some great stuff and has a big future.

He was the common denominator when we had a concession of under performing managers at Spurs. He looked decent at Newcastle, however they really pushed on when he left. Yes he has done well at Brum, but that hardly gives him the experience to run Spurs. Like someone else said, if we were to get him, watch our big named players go in the summer

Mourinho is well out. Too expensive and will be wanting too much spending money. also, he would probably leave after a couple of years and is renown for his behaviour. I have absolutely no idea at this point, but sadly, I feel  Harry has lost it a little and so has the team as result. Having said that, Should he not be offered the England job, I believe everything would be back to normal by next August, providing that we finish 4th, which is by no means in the bag. I am sure we can all hear the laughter from our neighbours loud and clear!

Unfortunately, Harry will be offered the job, and almost as certainly will take it. Which is rather unfortunate for us as there appears to be no suitable replacement.
I see another period of a few years in the wilderness while we search for that elusive right manager.
Yet again we seem unable to get a prolonged period of stability. No top 4 = no Bale, Modric, VDV.

Spot on, why is it wherever Arry goes he leaves the club in a totally shyte state!  Right now I actually despise the bloke for our slump and his constant reminders to the FA about the England job, you cant tell me our slump has anything more to do with HR not fully focusing on THFC as he doesnt care about next season with us!
HR has no loyalties and is always looking out for the BBD for himself.
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

Further to that metal, I think our players have stopped responding to Harry as well, as they probably know exactly where he will be at the end of the season. The slump in 2012 has been every bit as bad as under Ramos. It's like bloody groundhog day again for us. Only if we win all 5 remaining games will my faith in Redknapp be restored. Otherwise we must start all over again, and the sooner the better.

So Harry didn't get the England job!

Time for him to focus on the last 3 games now then and show
us he is totally committed as he would have us believe.

Actually Hodgson has not been appointed yet either.
