Well, do have any more converts. After Saturday Chelski will be 2pts behind us. We have lost all our ideas, width and confidence. Arry is wondering who he wants to play up front for England, and the players are wondering about who is the next Spurs manager. All apart from Modric and Bale of course, who will be playing for someone else anyway.

I know you don't like my pessimism, but it's going to take a brave person to argue with the facts !!
After yet another dismal result against Stoke, I can only agree with baldbloke. Why is it we cannot defend an aerial ball into box ? again and again. And at the other end, we cannot get a corner or free kick on target. week in week out. We are paying the price as we did 12 months ago for not bringing in a striker, CB, and a creative right sided midfielder with some pace. King looks finished to me, I'm sorry to say. As are our strike force.

And you have forgotten it wasn't long ago we were 12 points ahead of Chelsea and 10 in front of Ars*nal. It's about time us Spurs supporters started to be realistic !!

talking about being realistic all you have to be is 1 point ahead of the team in 5th after 38 games so being 10 or 12 ahead is neither here nor there when all the games still have too be played . now get behind the team and stop being a defeatist COYS .

Bad spells do not last for ever and still plenty of games left.

So   COYS  and 3rd place is still there for the taking.

I want to win the lottery, but it won't happen. After tomorrow Ars*nal will be 4 pts ahead of us and Chelsea only 2 behind. Saying we will finish 5th is optimistic, not pessimistic !!

I hate to admit it but Baldbloke is pretty much on the money, we are now in freefall and if we lose to Chelski I can see us struggling to stay ahead of Newcastle and Liverpool !!!

I am normally the most optomistic Spurs Fan there is but 'Arry and the England job has destroyed our season just when it was looking like we where in with a great chance, it's always the same with Spurs we promise so much and fail to deliver on a regular basis !!!!!

I think the players themselves have to taks a lot of the blame for the slump. We have a very good first 11 but when players like BAE/ King/Gallas/Lennon/Modric/Bale/Ade are either injured or lose form then we struggle big time.
I lay the blame with Levy for not strengthening the weak positions over the last 3 transfer windows. Maybe he won't let Harry loose with the chequebook if he's gonna leave ?? Or maybe we simply cannot compete with huge transfer fees / wages,

Woolwich still have ManCity, Chelsea and Stoke away. 3rd has always looked more likely than 4th.
He's strained his left adductor muscle it says. Whats that then ? Do we all have those or just footballers ? I wonder how mine are ? *courtesy of taimedowne*

After todays result at Sunderland, with Newacstle gaining points, if the Arse and Chelsea win we are 3 points away from 6th and 2 from third!

Do we have the bottle for a scrap to get us third or slump and under achieve finishing in 6th, right now with recent results I am seriously worried about the latter as its getting more and more possible!
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

and 5th has looked even more likely. Forget about what Ars*nal, Chelsea and Newcastle are doing, we need to win all our games, and the fact is that we won't. To have drawn against Sunderland, whether it be away or at home was not a good result. If you want to win a few quid, get your self down the bookies and put a ton on 5th !!

so old baldy has consistently stated spurs will finish 5th for a good while now but he must be still wiping the egg off his face after what can only be described as the most useless prediction since the days of  mystic meg . i wonder how he feels now that yet again chelsea and Ars*nal have fallen further behind pointswise since he enlightened us with his absolute garbage . with 15 games to go it appears to me that an implosion of seismic proportions will still not see the arse the chelsea or the pool knock us off course for 4th or better no matter what .the facts are we are vastly superior than any of those 3 and at the end of the season old baldbloke formely known as gareth keown will be eating a serious wedge of humble pie . enjoy it my man and in future engage your brain before you come out with such ardent tripe .COYS

Well Mr Lacey. Have a read of your original post and feel stupid. 2 pts behind Ars*nal with Chelsea on our heels. I am now starting to think 5th is a tad optimistic. Arry has cocked up the formation and the team have lost their confidence. This was always going to happen, and it appeared I was the only one who could see it.  One day you may want to join me in the world of realism !!
