Ivory coast kid (new drogba)

Does anybody know what happened to the striking sensation we signed in the summer? I know he's only 16 but he scored a couple of hat-tricks in under 17 world cup. Never expected him to be in squad but haven't seen any mention of him in the academy teams (think his name is Sullyman). Always keen to follow progress of young players, especially expensive ones.

There sure are lots of new Drogbas out there! That's been used to describe about 50 players.

You're right no sign of him anywhere. And nothing to say anymore apart from than that he joined us. No loan deals not in any of our youth teams it is a bit of a mystery. Oh and his name is Souleymane Coulibaly.

Well, the 152nd Drogba certainly turned up against QPR reserves on Tuesday and even managed to score. Iago Falque scored as well. Some familliar names in our XI lineup:
Spurs XI: Jansson (Miles, 75); Fredericks, Livermore, Stewart; Ceballos, Luongo, Carroll, Falque; Parrett (Pritchard, 63); Coulibaly (Lancaster, 63).

The full story can be read here.

Well there you go, strange how he doesn't appear in any of our lists of players. Maybe they forgot him.

Thanks for finding out. A goal and two strikes against posts against senior opposition, kid could be OK.

That wasn't his first goal for us. He scored v Birmigham XI two months ago. And maybe he scored more goals but I don't remember it.

He's doing quite well for the youth team and in the NextGen series. Check Windy's Blog for info on our yoofs.

I've only heard of two players being labeled the next Drogba (Romelu Lukaku) or baby Drogba (Soli Coulibaly)
He's strained his left adductor muscle it says. Whats that then ? Do we all have those or just footballers ? I wonder how mine are ? *courtesy of taimedowne*

Coulibaly is a class act I watched him at the U20's World Cup and he lit the tournament up scoring some great goals and he has also been in good form in the NextGen series. Let's not get too hyped about him though.

Good to keep an eye on these X1 fixtures as this is where the young blood
play some good games along with some of the regulars e.g. Defoe against Charlton recently.
